Recently I bought an HK78 Myers mask from Nag studios for about $450 and I was curious if that’s the average price range for his masks? I’ve been looking to get a really nice 78 mask but I don’t wanna pay anything crazy.
Id say thats about right for an average. A PS78 will run you $609 USD. I think I paid around $400 for my 75K Castle back in 2018. I know those are a big difference in price, but as far as middle ground Id say $450 is average
Sooner or later you’ll be 3-4 masks in and think to yourself, “damn these all together are worth over 1k” 
Seems outrageous doesn’t it? Just for a piece of latex with some paint and hair that needs redone anyhow. 
Yeah I use to think it was all bs and still kinda do but it really is like a art canvas and if dummy’s are willing to pay big money for like a poker dot painting because Leonardo touched it with his crusty hands I guess this ain’t too bad

I was recently talking with Nikos and he told me $450 for a Kirk stretch. And I would shell that out no problem. Either you can afford it, or you can’t. I’ve been in the dog house many times with these damn masks lol so be careful! It’s definitely an extreme skill to sculpt, mold, prep, paint and hair these things. In my eyes it’s definitely worth it. And it takes a lot of patience also, 8 months is a long time for some to wait on a mask. Kudos to Nikos for being that busy with people wanting his art, that’s an amazing problem to have if you ask me. Let’s just hope he doesn’t get tired of making them, I can see getting burnt out. Thats what happened to me with the knife thing, just got to be too much and I lost interest.
Save up, get a side hustle, work…lol You can then get whatever you want.

I have forked out thousands for 3 masks I currently own but was also paid well for five I have sold. I do not regret it one bit. Our neighborhood is insane at HalloweeN. We routinely get 600+ trick or treaters. All the adults love our house. When I’m outside I get asked when Michael will be in the window, people yelling driving by “love your house!” Families stopping by before the HalloweeN mobs to take family photos in front of my house. Little kids dressing as Michael just to get photo here. It’s great!

I will get an indie mask one day. I often defend the cost to people who balk at it. You’re paying for craftwork, not simple production. It’s not unlike the difference between a seven-inch NECA action figure and a twelve-inch Hot Toys figure. I can’t afford indie or Hot Toys, so I save up for a mask and buy NECA and McFarlane. I personally also like TOTS offerings, which hold me over until I can afford more.

I mainly defend the hobby and indie masks to normies who don’t know what they’re talking about when they criticize masks. I’m not a sports guy, so I usually ask what they pay for season passes and then they get it.
