Ive wanted to get one of Niks H78’s mask for a long time now.Ive just always noticed that every mask I see is super thin.Is this done for accuracy since the H1 was a thin mask or does he make them this way because everyone who orders one request it this way? I just think it would last much longer if it was at least a medium thick pull.Does anyone own a thicker NAG? I just wanted to see if some of you guys who buy alot of NAG masks have any thicker masks or are they all thin.Thanks for any info you can share.
I generally like my masks thin for accuracy. It also allows for easier eye cuts on conversions. When a mask is cast thick, it’s easy to get jagged edges on the eyes (unless they’re molded in). The RD-407 latex standard used today lasts much longer than the old latex w/ clay additives from the 70s. Thin masks should still outlast you with proper care. I only buy thick masks when I plan on displaying them. Myers masks are made to be worn imo.
Super thin is the way to go for screen-accuracy in my opinion. But, I’ve got several NAGs & they are all a bit different in thickness. The only REALLY thin one I have is my flawed blank which is soon to be taken care of by AHG 
I like mine medium.Not to thick or thin…Ive just seen alot of thin ones and was wondering if all of them are thin.
he casts them in what is considered medium thin. but if you wanted a thicker pull im sure he would do it for you.
I just got an Nag h78 in the mail from jay muzz this morning and its a good medium thin pull, i have no complaints and i agree with chad, there ment to be worn lol
