NAG Overhaul: Castle 75K SE or PS 78?

Hello ladies and gentlemen,

I am going to be sending an H1 and H2 to Mr. Carter within sometime to get overhauled. My question for the community is which H1 should I send? I am going to make a decision myself, but I always love your guys’ feedback. I have a 2018 Castle 75K SE, and am ordering a 2020 PS 78. I also know the Proto 98 is a fantastic H1, I think just as good or better than the Castle 75K SE. I am really leaning towards the PS for the stretch factor, and the few I’ve seen him do. Nevertheless, feel free to leave some opinions please. It is encouraged. Thanks!

Honestly with the choices you have right here you can’t go wrong with either one as far as having James convert them. You’re talking about two incredible masks here and the best in the buisness doing the overhaul…man this is a really tough one lol for the stretch factor being a major selling point I would say the PS also but damn you really can’t go wrong with either one .seriously thats a no lose win win situation .PS78 has an amazing stretch factor though…

Go with the PS if you feel you want a built in stretch. Though I love that mask, I prefer the Castle because of no stretch. Always like to add that myself. More accurate imo. Like Jeris said though, you can’t go wrong with either :rock: :pumpkin:

Honestly since it’s James Carter you’re trying to send one of your masks to be rehauled, pick your favourite mask to send off I’d say.

Why don’t you just make a poll? And everyone can just vote.

Personally, I would send him the PS78, as that’s a newer mask that I haven’t seen him do yet. Plus, with his expertise, he can make that already incredibly accurate mask even better.

Oh he’s done the PS78mask before, posted it on here near when the PS78 first came out.

I’ve had my Castle 75K for almost 3 years and it is currently my favorite H1 I have. I think I have found a new grail though in this PS 78, considering the several improvements I believe it has on the Castle 75K. Thank you!

That would have been smart, haha. I have never set one up so I didn’t even think of that.

Indeed, TBit is correct. He’s done 3 I believe, well 3 that I have seen anyway. He’s got photos of in-progress and finished ones on facebook. They are stellar I must say, and scary-accurate.

You cant go wrong either way, but if you already have the 75k Castle from Nik, I would maybe get the ps78 or the 98 proto sent to James. That way he’ll be doing the eye cuts fresh.

Is James rehauling someone’s work or finishing blank? Both are good choices and it really up to you. I’m not a fan of stretch masks personally, but it’s for you not me haha.

You think it’d be better to send him a blank? I am ordering from Nik in March, but I am in line though for a few years yet. What is your opinion?

Well the Castle 75K SE is finished if I sent that to him, but I am ordering from Nik soon so I could get a blank or a finished PS 78.

Personally, I think sending him a blank would be the best option. Simply because of the eye cuts, but I’m sure you’ll be happy either way.
