For a mass produced mask it’s really not that bad! I guess what kills it for me is the profile and huge distance between the eyes As a collector I’d still pick one up though
So take this with a grain of salt cause who knows but I’ve read in multiple places now that this is limited to 500 only being sent to select stores with each store only getting one mask. With over 3500 walmarts in america it’s definitely going to be a hunt
Fascinating. Can anybody chime in on how IP rights actually work? So NECA can make a Myers mask, at least a “Halloween II” mask (even though this is clearly a 78 inspired look), and sell them even though TOTS has the mask rights?
It’s confusing. Same with Rubies when they were releasing them.
Long story short, Universal has been licensing Halloween III merch without TOTS consent. TOTS filed suit just for the H3 stuff and the asshats at Universal retaliated by pulling all licenses (including H2, H3, and the Universal Monsters) from TOTS. I’ve read rumors that NECA (which now owns Rubie’s) is going to get the pulled licenses. Universal deserves to lose the money they will as a result.
