second on Dirtknapfx. Not sure if he’s making knives atm though as he’s focusing on masks but he’s damn good.

Whose’s knife replicas are considered more accurate, JC’s or DirtKnapFX’s?
They’re both accurate, just made differently. Jc’s looks a little more real from a distance, but are much more fragile. Tims replicas look real, and are made out of solid aluminum and would be much harder to damage by mistake. Can’t go wrong with either.
The only thing I’ll add here is that if you plan on going out on the big night, make sure the knife you bring with you can be proven to obviously be fake. I once got a talking-to because I had a prop knife that was real metal and “didn’t seem fake” enough.
My buddy walked around as Leatherface with a real chainsaw and didn’t get hassled once. 
I just got this one off eBay. The link for this knife is already on this thread. It’s poly resin. Light weight and flexible. Totally safe for Halloween. [

This is something I’m kind of worried about. I didn’t even take my knife out last year for this reason. Who was it that said something? A cop, worried parent, vigilant neighborhood watchman?
They were “rent-a-cop” security guys (no disrespect intended).
Just be safe in public. Don’t want some “worried parent” or citizen with a gun license to shoot an ask questions later.
