Hey guys, I‘ve been thinking about getting a new H1 mask from Nik but I can’t decide which one to get, please help!
It’s kind of up to you, really. They’re both great H1 sculpts, but to me they’re almost indistinguishable.
The top is the Castro, and the bottom is the ps78.
Ultimately, it comes down to personal preference.
In my opinion, since the Castro is a Lineage mask, it excels in fine details and molding.
However, the shape of the temples and the area around the ears feels slightly off.
On the other hand, since the PS78 is a ground-up, it perfectly reproduces the “Castle Stretch” and the overall form.
However, when it comes to the fine details, it still doesn’t quite measure up to Lineage.
That said, since IDs cannot be used, there is no doubt that, as things stand, it will be one of these two options.

I think you’d be better off getting a 98 proto than the Castro that’s all it is just a built in stretch. Personally I’d just stuff a 98 proto a certain way to get that “natural” castle stretch

Hands down PS78, something is off about the castro. It looks good from some angles, not so good from others.. PS78 Looks great in all light from all angles

If you want a stretch display, best to just get a stretch mask rather than stuffing a mask like the 98 Proto, which would only cause it to sag and warp the shape.
Well yes and no I feel like, the screen used masked was technically warped and sagged between nick castle and dick warlock having worn it heavily

Do you remember what size your ps78 was? and how much of a difference is there between the two in terms of sizing? that third picture is rad btw.
It was a 24.5, but something about it just didn’t sit right. Felt like a 25 on me. The castro I believe is the same size, just sits better on my head and face.
