OK I have a real scalpel just like in Halloween 2 but I can’t use the real blade out on Halloween night. Does anyone have any suggestions at all as to what I can do about the blade to be safe for Halloween Night? Going to a party- don’t want to hurt myself or anyone else.
Take the blade out
Try taking the blade to a bench grinder to dull it up so it’s not sharp anymore.

I made a wooden replacement blade out of the end of a Popsicle stick that looked pretty good one year

What type of adhesive did you use?
ITS GONNA BE DARK SIMPLY TAKE SOME DUCK TAPE AND WRAP SOME ON THE BLADE AND DONT SWING OR STAB AROUND LIKE IN HALLOWEEN 2 HAHA YOU CAN ALSO TAKE SOME CARDBOARD TRACE THE BLADE ON THAT AND JUST TAPE IT ON AND PAINT IT WILL LOOK GOOD BOTH WAYS HAVE A GREAT NIGHT 
Hey there, I just traced the blade on cardboard, cut it cot. Pasted some tin foil onto the fake blade, to make it look real, as silver paint doesn’t quite do it. Trimmed around the foil and attached the blade to the scalpel. It looked great. I even had to show a cop that it wasn’t.

This is hard to explain haha, but along time ago I made a scalpel blade out of the plastic off of one of the boxes my neca Friday the 13th figure came out of. I’m pretty sure if you traced the blade and then cut it out it and spray painted it to match the handle, it would work nice, it would still be very thin and look real, but would be flexible. I hope I explained it well enough. and hope I helped.
