I need to know what the phone number is on the Strode Realty sign when Laurie drops off the key at the Myers house. If anyone could help on this I’d really appreciate it!

Hey Benny… I found this sign but it is from RZs Halloween but the number may be the same not sure though. Mike
well, i just looked on my blu-ray copy and it is still hard to see benny but i think it is 555-3478. i will keep looking and see if i can zoom it better.

evilsmellyclown, I had came up with 555-3479 so I think we’re close. Thanks for helping man. I was doubting if it were really “555” or not however as that trend (using 555 as the prefix) didn’t start until after the popular song " 867-5309 JENNY". I read somewhere that number was being called in all area codes all over the nation so as a result the “555” prefix was used on all fictional numbers that followed in movies and/or songs. Of course the song (JENNY) came out in the 80’s so Halloween predates this practice. Perhaps just another example of Carpenter being ahead of the curve!
Anyone else have input as to what the number appears to be?
anytime benny. i jumped at the chance to try to help you out, because you always help me with this site when i am being a computer moron. so i was glad to do it. i even called my buddy up and he has a little better tv than i do. he said 555-3472 but i told him i really dont think it’s a 2. by the end of our conversation we decided on 8 but possibly 9. i have another friend with a super sweet high end tv and i am visiting him tomorrow and taking my blu-ray over there. so i will let you know if it is any clearer, which it should be. i am curious myself now. i am on a mission.

Thanks man! I am leaning toward 555-3479, it will be interesting to see what you see. I have a Sony Bravia HD LED and the Halloween Blu Ray but the number is still hard to read, 555-3479 is the best I can do.
