Thanks guys, got it from Campground horror off etsy/eBay as far as I know it’s the only one they made. I just seen it for sale and had to grab it… such a thick pull. Says it’s 23 but it fits better than a H40 does. It’s fits just perfectly. I plan on doing a full cosplay outfit with it with some burnt coveralls and doing some latex makeup work for burnt arms and chest on an undershirt I think
I am one who is not a fan of the “mask melted to his face” look that the 2018 novel alludes to. If that is in fact what they do, I will have a hard time getting on board with it. Just steal a new mask, it’s not like you have to assume they stopped making white face latex masks in the Halloween universe just because it’s 40+ years later.
Now if it’s just melted a bit like this custom design, that’s different, I would be willing to see how that goes. But melted to his face?? No. Just can’t get down with that. Just go steal a new one, give them a reason to make a new clean Myers look.
I do like the 2018 mask, don’t get me wrong, but after Rob Zombies films, I was hoping for a new clean look Myers mask with these new films.
When I heard it was going to be an aged version, I was not exactly thrilled. Even less thrilled if it’s just a continued deterioration of the same mask. Give us a new clean look. Or just keep the 2018 mask the way it is. Those fire resistant coveralls protected him anyway lol. Damnit lol.
I agree completley… I am not for the melted to the face stuff say like the end of ressurection. But this mask here i like because the mask is melting as say from the heat of the fire, rather than actually being burnt to the face. If the mask I have here is something we will see I’ll be for it, but as you start if it’s c ompletley trashed and melted to the face, with almost no hair at all… give it a break… if they start the movie off that way and lead into a new mask okay but I wouldn’t be able to stand a whole movie with a full burnt to face mask either. Yeah I can accept a somewhat melted mask. This concept here with this mask is doable. But the whole fused to his face melting thing is just not going to work for me.
Unless like you said, it just starts out that way, and he steals a new mask along the line, then ok, I can accept that. But yeah, a whole movie or two of melted to his face, fused to his face, no. Just no. Can’t get behind that.
