New DPS 98/99 Shatner H2 conversion SCORE!!! *PIC HEAVY*

Finally, my 3 years of finding the right H2 grail has ended. A few weeks ago I asked Mike at MDF Effects to make me a H2 DPS 98/99 Shatner mask. He got the blank from Darren and from there worked on it. Now after USPS stalled and took a while to ship it, it finally arrived here. I present to you the DPS 98/99 Shatner H2 conversion #3 by MDF Effects. This thing is such a killer mask, I haven’t been this excited about a mask. The mask is small, only at 23" inside but damn does it fit snug on me. Sadly I don’t have the head shape for a Warlock stretch so I’ll add padding next time to get the Warlock stretch. The pictures though that I took of it on the stand looks just like Dick wearing it back in 1981! Mike’s paintjobs are up there with JC man, and the hair on this thing is magnificent! Especially the new mask smell, this thing is a keeper forever. Glad I could show you all my new H2 grail. Just need to change the coverall color and have it weathered, enjoy the worn pictures! :myers: :pumpkin: :pumpkin: :rock: :mrgreen:

This is my first DPS 98/99 Shatner mask. I love these already, they make for both great H1s ans H2s!!! You got any pictures? Love AHGs work! Thanks for the kind words! You can look at the other worn shots I posted above!

Awesome paintjob on the kirk, I just got a blank too. I know mine wont turn out that good though lol

the coveralls look good you can dye them green with a full bottle of Rit Dymore “daffodil yellow” will turn the blue green
if its not dark enough/green enough you can use rit dyemore “Peacock green”

Having a 22" head, yeah it fits me good. Kind of glad I have a small head sometimes or else it would’ve been tight on me! :laughing: Definitely is a keeper, thanks!

Oh yeah Mike did a fantastic job on this 98/99 Shatner mask man! Pure H2. Nah don’t doubt yourself dude, if done right the 98/99s look amazing so you gotta believe it’ll look good! Also yeah I got a normal rit dyemore yellow, I’m going to see how that turns out and then I’m going to send them off to gristlebox for weathering.

Thanks! I think it just needs a little bit of stuffing, around the eyes or temple to give it that stretch. Looks more like a Nick Castle stretch without the mouth open.
