New Mask - The Shadow Reaper

Hey everyone!

I wanted to share with you all a mask that I am producing. I’m calling it The Shadow Reaper. Quick back story, this mold was sculpted by Hallow Masks on FB. The urethane master was bought by James Grim and then I bought the master from James. James has a lot a projects going on and he is also producing the Nemesis and JTK masks so he didn’t really have time for this project.

I had to jump at this opportunity when I saw that James was selling the master. I’ve been rehauling TOTS masks for a couple of years off and on and selling them on eBay, but I really wanted a chance to keep painting masks without going through TOTS.

The mold comes from the William Shatner life cast with a few tweaks here and there. It really pulls off the H1 and Kills flashback look imo. Here are some pics of my work.

My plan is to cast about 5 blanks a week and work on them and post them for sale when they’re finished. If anyone wants to reach out to me privately for a commissioned mask…feel free to DM me

Thanks for checking it out!

It does look pretty good, finishing wise, but the eyecuts seem to look a bit weird to me in terms of that first mask, if that is pulling off the Flashback mask look, like they could actually be made bigger almost and a bit more like this

I agree on the eye cuts. I am still trying to figure out the contours of the mask when cutting the eyes. I’m getting closer each time

A hack you could use, is using some tinfoil and duck tape, so you can get the placement of the eyes and eyebrow area, etc, you can have them as a reference, then work on drawing your cuts till they are at the right spot and cut out the shape, then use that as a guide
