New Mondo myers print still up for sale.

It’s been up for about 25 min. Not sure how long it will last.

Apparently it’s like old cinema lobby cards? But I’m not a huge fan of the design.

dude very cool and they are sold out now  damn I wanted one thanks for sharing

Really? That was fast haha.

Yeah it was 45 plus shipping. You can maybe get them on ebay.

Get them on eBay fast because some of his work tends to go up in value and get rarer over time. Happened to my they live poster.

Of course they sold out. Probably in minutes. Just like everything else that’s tagged as a “limited edition”. There’s already about a dozen of them on eBay that all the vultures and scalpers snagged to rip us collectors off. Apparently that’s the name of the game now; those of us who actually want to buy something like these to enjoy have to either have a fast trigger (mouse) finger or either buy it from some asshat on ebay who only bought it to resell at triple the price it was offered for. And all anyone has to say about it is “it’s only worth the price you’re willing to pay” because they’re either one of the rich-boys in the hobby who will pay the outrageous price, just because they have the money or are just a defeatist and accept the unjust practice. A lot of piss has been taken out of not just the Myers end of collecting, but practically every other. Although, it seems anything with the white mask or it’s affiliation is quickly bought up and sold off three-fold, more so than anything else. It’s funny how all the Myers House prints sold out faster than a fart vanishes, but all the others are still there.

I’m not even mad about missing the house print, but seeing Edmiston’s prior Myers design featured on the corner (and on a recent Fright-Rags tee) ignited an annoyance in me to comment on their page and, thus, start a flood of Mondo fanboys attempting to go so far into my a** it would of been darker than the night sky. One of the snarky gentlemen who got butt-hurt at my blatant honestly pretty much proved my point, that all this “limited edition” and exclusive crap is just to feed egos and make people feel special that they have a “1/X” print and paid four times what it’s worth.

These posters aren’t the Mona Lisa or some ancient piece by Van Gogh that have earned their value through centuries of existence and recognition. They’re movie posters. Modern movie posters.

AGREED! I get so tired of seeing people buy on the cheap just to cash in minutes later. Honestly I mean I understand people seeing value and trying to make a little, but 3 or 4 times is rediculous, I too saw the 85 dollar T-SHIRT! I mean seriously!!! I, like many others on here am a collector, and it’s upsetting sometimes. But honestly we see it with the masks also, a 200 mask and a 200 conversion is NOT A 2000 dollar mask, I don’t give a damn how you look at it. Furthermore who are the dumb asses trying to sell 85 “the mask” for a grand, and I mean like two or three are trying to do that.

Unfortunately, that attitude has been fed enough for it to become a full-grown practice. That’s why it is so rampant. And I’m sure there’ll be a dozen members to chime in with the same old song and dance that has helped it all flourish.

yes I looked on eBay and the cheapest I saw was around $80-100  I instantly got the fox and the grapes syndrome  what can ya do?

Eh… it was up for a good 30 min. You just have to watch their facebook when you know a sale is coming up. They send out emails too.

Sometimes it is ridiculous … but hey. 600 bucks for a mask is kind of crazy too haha

I hear ya, Dren. I can’t stand scalpers, and anybody that supports them, or their business practices are in the hobby for the wrong reason if you ask me. Prices have been driven to the point of insanity because of a “it’s worth as much as you’re willing to pay for it” attitude, and it sickens me. These collectibles are meant to be enjoyed and loved, not hoarded and bought and sold like stocks.

scalpers do the same with Scream Factory Blu-rays. There is on guy on Ebay who always buys and least 3-4 new limited SF movies, then sells them on Ebay for $$$$. It pisses me off.
