Maybe he uses better latex now, but his masks do have a history of not holding up well.
This is the message I just got back for those who are curious.
Hi and sorry for the delay, this is a special project im trying to put out for some time now with Sean, this mask its not going to be the same small mask that Sean released many years ago, and its not going to be the sandman mask he made afterwards which had washed out details. this new mask its coming directly from the original don post 75 kirk he found back in the 90s with all details on of the original 75 kirk on it, so this replica will be a replica of the kirk he bought back then, as accurate as it gets to that.
Sean had the idea to keep it to a limited number of 100 copies just like his release, I am not alone in this project but im trying to keep the price as fair as possible and as low as possible because we live in hard times. The price will be 850 usd with all fees included for goods and services payments or 800 usd for friends and family payments. You have the option to choose kirk finishing or Myers finishing.
Each mask will come numbered and signed and will include of course a certificate signed by NAG and Sean Clark himself
for blanks the price will be only 50usd less than standard price
Sizes i will have from 24" to 25.5" available so be specific.
Because the mask is more expensive than my other masks(because im not alone in this project) from my part plus i will add something extra like a special display base for this amazing mask and possibly a special gift too. I got more than 100 messages for ordering the mask so i will follow up all the messages with this message.
The wait time will be short for the first 10-20 copies( 2 months or less)but im planning to have them all 100 done within 8 months.
For those who can’t afford to pay in full right away they can can send half payment now and the rest before mask completion.

Damn…almost $1K? I fully believe the laborer is worth his wage, and want to support Sean and Nic, but I just can’t afford that.

I don’t think you’re saying that right. Nikos stated that, that’s not the same ground up sculpt. This is a clay pressing of the mask. If you look at these pics and the one on the YouTube channel that Sean received. They’re not the same. Nikos said he scanned Sean’s newest original 75k.
Looks like its going to be an awesome mask! I went ahead and pre-ordered one and requested to be converted to a Myers H1.

Well I certainly missed the boat on this announcement. I heard about the Prime 75 last year and I was waiting but I didn’t see anything. I haven’t been on Facebook much and when I did check, I always checked the NAG Masks group, didn’t realize there is also a NAGmasks site with no space [emoji2359]
Long story short I finally found the correct post this morning and sent off an email for this one instead. I’m praying I can still get in on the first 20 [emoji1696][emoji120]

That’s really weird I posted a response to this thread a while back just saying I had a little bit of trouble finding the right NAG group on Facebook because I didn’t realize there were two groups and I was hoping I could get in on this mask and time I left a message there and of course emailed Nik too. Hopefully I’ll hear something back soon but I don’t know why my last message didn’t post. It still says it’s waiting for approval.
It’s new security measures to keep spam and other trouble out of the boards. There are a lot of approvals we have to go through, and sometimes I miss one here and there. I missed that one. My bad. It’s viewable now.

So I’m looking to clarify which of these masks is going to be more accurate to the original 1975 mask used in the 78 film. Because I would only consider one of them if it’s going to be more accurate or at least as perfect as the Castle 75k/98 Proto looks to me.
If anyone can help clarify it would be much appreciated.

Sorry I’m just getting back to you on this. That is very bizarre. I tried looking into anything and everything I can adjust on my end, and I have no idea what’s going on there. Might be something only the forum owner can control? I’m sorry man, I am baffled by this. There should be no reason you can’t send and receive PM’s, you are well past the threshold to be able to do so. Very strange

Regarding the NAG/ SC75, I have mine ordered so I’m hoping it’s the best yet. Been wanting a Castle 75k, PS78 or 98 Proto for a long time but I figure this new one with Sean will be upper echelon so I took the plunge and decided to go with it instead.
