Agreed, the neck is the only minor prob with this mask. The more I see videos of it, the more I kinda like it.
The video of the H4 looks very promising ! I think finished and haired the right way and its a killer mask

Was not a fan of the H4 mask anyways…could have been right off the movie set and I would not have wanted it…for me H1 and H2 are the only Myers masks…rest of them are just rip offs
It is good that it is long as you can cut it off and glue back on for that neck extension look if you want. I love H1 and H2 even more, but loved H4 and H5 even more so. I used to defended the movies for many years on the forums as most just bandwagon on H1 and H2, which I love too. But I loved the look and beautiful coloring of H4 and the night blue, and had the best opening scene ever. I also loved the look of H5 and the mask is brutal and scary looking. People do not realize they changed it because Star Trek threatened to sue them. But I am fan of them since I was a kid back when they came out, and like Jason they are all special to me. But I especially love H4 and H5, and H2 for the gnarly matted up hair and gunshot bloody look which I made many times. The H4 mask has a very creepy vibe and a neutral look, which makes it even scarier in a way, and looks just like a mask you would get from the shop. Just love them all, way better than today’s crap remakes.
The artist that sculpted them said that Rubies didn’t give much time to sculpt.
That 5 looks to me like the comic book mask someone did a few years ago. Strange and different, not accurate, but not terrible, either…
Oh man, do they ever. I just display the masks during the season, but the Rubies masks all smell like hell. My CE Freddy Krueger smells like old, dirty rubber bands. while my deluxe Predator mask smells like a weird mix of rubber cement and vanilla cake frosting. I just got a deluxe 1974 Leatherface that I believe they made, haven’t taken it out of the bag yet, can’t wait to see what this one smells like. 
I love the smell of latex, especially indie latex and my own that I use lol. Only cured though not liquid in the container, that ammonia is strong! Lol.
I’ll admit the smell of latex is a nostalgic smell for me, especially the smell of the latex Kenner used on their Jurassic Park dinosaur figures.
at first i didnt like the pics that were coming out but the last couple video,s have convinced me to buy it.
I think if the sculptor had more time that could have been a really good replica, still I’m betting the sculpt looks better than the final product. As is it’s decent, the eyes are a bit off, I think someone like Killah or Martin Pena could do a solid job with it though.
I have the H4, and to be honest I was quite surprised at how good it looked when I pulled it out of the box. It instantly reminded me of the store scene when he first steals the mask and Jamie sees him.
The stock photo does nothing for it. It is not perfect, but worlds better than one would expect from Rubie’s. It has a lot of potential. The hair on it is better quality than I expected as well. It is full and lays well.
The size is similar to the Elrod mask, and I did have to make the slit larger for ease of putting on and taking off.
With that said, In the small amount of time the sculpter had to make this, I think he did a great job.
Anybody know when the Rubies H5 is coming out???
Any pics you could share? I’m still on the fence about this mask, and I’m interested in pics other than the stock photo because the videos I’ve seen make the mask look much more appealing than Rubies’ stock photos do.
picked mine up today from party city and once i got it on a foam head with some proper stuffing to fill out the face it is pretty darn close.i,m so glad i found it in store so i could get a good look in person and i cant say how well it turned out.and the part 5 will be out next month.dont need one as i already have a uncle shanks from S&SFX Horror designs.awsome 5 for 85$ shipped.
Damn that actually looks pretty awesome. They really got the look down I think for what the mask is.
I knocked the Rubies masks because of the photo that was released on Instagram but after seeing the videos and pictures of the finished product I’m pleasantly surprised. Just bought an H4 off Amazon. Going to arrive on the 20th so I’ll definitely be doing an unboxing/review as well as a costume test for it. May have to eat my words if it turns out to be as good as I’ve seen so far.
