Looks awesome in the unboxing. It is all about perspective it not bad at all especially for mas produced. Will have to try on my next life-sized with the accurate coveralls and see how it looks and hopefully a costume finally if it not made for a pin head like all the others lol. Also at night you do not see it in the bright light up close anyway. This is far from “shit city” that would be some of Rubie’s past Myers masks. I still use the New undermask and it is great as well especially after I paint it and make it a hood. Not as a great as my Vengeance and Revengeance of course but still pretty good for wearing and is covered mostly anyway.
It actually looks better in the video.
The only reason I’m not getting this is because the edge of the mouth looks weird.
Looks like a garbage pail kid card
You guys are killing me with these highly-accurate disses!
Geee…im so happy I have a life to live and not spend all day on how the Rubies h4 mask has this wrong with it and that and this and that. I mean come on!!!
Don’t like it then don’t get it!! Simple enough…
Then what’s the point of discussion on a forum knightBlake? If you don’t like other people’s opinions, then ignore them. Just as we, the let down fans of this hideous so called “h4 mask”, won’t be buying one as you mentioned. That’s simple enough.
I agree with ya on people liking what they do its cool!
Yeah some take latex masks way too seriously and just like to jump on the bashing bandwagon and usually those types don’t have jack or a collection anyway. Bashing a mask doesn’t really accomplish anything, some on here do only that all day and night. They can be customized to look better as well. I already said about the mouth but that seems to be over-magnified in the pic due to the lighting and is not as noticeable in the video or in real life. For a mass produced mask it is pretty good and much better than expected. Of course it is not going to be perfect TOTS is not perfect but you can also modify them to look better. But from a distance it gives off the proper look. Not bad at all for $37.00 on one site. Of course it does not have the detail of a $200-$400 indie mask but for the price is still pretty good and a lot better than past Myers masks. There may be some lines that are not supposed to be there but they can be filled in and repainted also. But for what it is (mass produced) and the low price it is still pretty good.
Truth be told, I watched the unboxing video, and the mask looks pretty decent, much better than the display pic of the proto they released. It looks like it could even be decent enough to buy! I think I’ll wait until I see some in person pics before I decide whether to buy or not.
Wow! I’m impressed.

And the sculpt of the H5 looks pretty good to me. In the other pic it was probably not properly stuffed.
Not bad!! When the h5 to be released??
I never understood why it was so damn hard to make great Myers masks and keep them available at all times and for a good price. Always someone does a decent one and then they go out of business and stop making them then you have to watch eBay and pay $500 and up. Especially H4 and H5 all those years and no damn mask until the mid 2000’s and even then very limited and too small. That is why I wanted to become a mask maker I would make every mask and have them available all the time, and for a good price. Would need a factory to keep up that is the problem and why you need a team and they need to know how to finish them also. If I did myself it would take longer or be rushed. I would just make batches all winter and then sell them all summer. Would be monotonous though myself and very dull after awhile. But that is one way to make them and keep them available. But no time as I make costumes and all the coveralls full-time. I would not want to make thousands of the same mask though all by hand lol. I get burnt out after doing three costumes of the same character. But it is just odd how limited great masks are for Myers all these years.
God that is horrible. I really thought TOTS was getting the license to make 4&5 mask? I could have sworn I heard that about a year ago.
A new video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HxJaEkn_KxU
I feel like the neck is a bit too long but that can be easily fixed. Rubies did a good job this time.
Some people are so jazzed about this H4 that they are trying to sell it on eBay for 200$!! Wow. Imagine the disappointment when the person buys a 200$ mask that is worth 30$ and passes out from the smell when they open the box, and when they came to they noticed they ripped out all the hair when they passed out. Lol, 200$, give me a break…
God damned bottom feeders, lol.
It’s pretty obvious that they are trying to compete with Trick or Treat Studios, however, I don’t think there is any collector potential for these masks.
