Something I failed to mention earlier is when Billy saw the pics the hairline being “off” a bit was the FIRST THING that prompted him to believe it was legit. He had seen Sean’s copy (which is without question 1 of the 15) and the hairline was identical. Again Sean said himself that the mask looks very similar to his based on the photos I sent so I think it is very possibly, even likely legit. In fact I’m going to contact Cinema Secrets and try to get it authenticated.

In my opinion it’s VERY close with the right stuffing (to simulate Brad’s head) and lighting.
Also I would like to note that my mask has the slightly more “squared” jawline than the pics do justice to. It matches the jawline of the screencap nicely.
Ok so here are some pics of the 1 of 15 I use to own and the one I own now. The one I own now has a stamp on it but looks pretty much the same to me and I have the COA.
With it not being stamped let’s you know its a rare find indeed.I think the hairline is dead on.I was interested in this mask but could not come up with the extra funds.I think you have a 1 of 15 there.Congrats bro awesome score
The C.E’S and se’s are about the same too some point . Ive seen some CE’S that look just as good if not better than the SE’S, but that’s just my opinion. It’s the history behind the mask that creates the value. That goes with any piece… The fact it isnt stamped really doesnt mean much…

PS I DO HOPE this is one of the 15 so I can archive it… however at this point it would be almost Impossible too confirm anything, unless an h8 expert CAN CONFIRM AND ID’S IT too my standards…
My mask “in person” looks nearly identical to the SE pics you posted. The hair is the same length and type, the paintup is the same exact color (with blotches on neck) and the neck is the same length and cut.
As far as better pics…probably won’t happen with me behind the lens.

I’ve owned 2 of the 15 movie masks and it looks different to me. Also, about a year ago a friend of mine bought a CS mask from someone on Ebay and the mask did not have the Copyright stamps on it as well. However, it was much different from my movie masks. Either way it’s a nice score.

Much of this I would assume is due to my lack of pic taking skills.
I have NEVER been able to capture what my DB2, KH nor this mask truly looks like.
The eye cuts, paint, neck length, features, etc…they all look like the pic you posted in person. The hair was REALLY matted down and sprayed heavily with hair spray. You’d be surprised how this throws off the look of the mask. This mask (again “in person”) looks very close to the one on the left in the pic you posted with the two side by side above.
I’m going to have a friend of mine who is a photographer take better pics of this and some other masks I own in the near future. I’m on about a 3rd grade level when it comes to photography!
I tried to take clear shots of this mask next to one posted simultaneously but my lack of photography skills certainly hindered the quality of the pic:
At any rate they are side by side, I can certainly see the same details. Again the hair makes it look a bit different and the eye cuts are wider on some copies than others as well, providing it is not the angle that the pics are taken from.
I’ve looked at several SE’s via the search function and in my honest opinion they vary quite a bit on most copies.
Not saying for certain mine is or isn’t, just making observations. I’ll update the thread when I get a definite confirmation (if I do) from Cinema Secrets.
Just for the record I have NO intentions on selling this mask so my pursuit of a COA is solely for my collection purposes, not resale value. Now, I DO happen to have a Deluxe C.S. H8 that Darren is repainting and rehairring which will soon be for sale…
Thanks, I really think it MAY be. Simply because I look at my posted pics and then the mask and my pics DO NOT do justice at all.
I should quit being cheap and get a nice tripod and some lights. Thanks for putting up with these lackluster pics guys, hopefully that will change soon.
I say it’s easily one of the 15; each one of the 15 had different paint jobs (Some lighter some darker) and little tweaks here and there. I had pics of what CS had of the 15 on my original computer way back when, they took a pic of them all lined up when I purchased mine. It’s from the exact mold, without the copyrights and I’ve never heard of the any other than the ones pulled/released without the copyrights from CS movie mold…but hey, I live all the way here in Illinois so word travels slow. Anyway, any Special Editions ones I’ve seen have the copyrights and this one does not; so I’d lean towards one of the 15.
