Been wanting to share this piece for about a week now but was waiting on the bust to show up so I could get it all put together.
This is an OG 75k castle done up by James and honestly I’m pretty sure this is my endgame I can’t imagine any mask ever topping this for me, I can safely say my H1/H2 collection is finally finished.
I loved my 98 Proto I had but it was way too big on my head and the eyes were a little off but this thing fits me perfectly, which is very rare for me cause I have a tiny head
In my opinion this is Niks best sculpt to date, nothing I’d really change. The finish JC gave it is super vintage and it just screams hallway scene which has always been my favorite.
Gorgeous mask and setup! I’m the opposite as my head is usually way too big for masks, but I still can’t let go of my copy! It has those raw details that were lost when he finalized the Castle 75k sculpt. Fits you perfectly as well!
Thanks man and yeah I have another friend who has your problem, seems there’s never a happy in between for us Myers collectors, either too big or too small
You inspired me to make a post I just put up! When it comes to the sculpts the minor differences actually make a huge difference. Even though it doesn’t fit me, I found it impossible to let it go. The sculpt has a special ambience to it and the size is accurate to the film.
It definitely looks like you found your grail. The eyecuts and paintjob are perfection and the worn photos scream 1978 man. Truly an outstanding mask
I’ll go check that out! And for sure man, I don’t see me ever parting with this piece, nothing is gonna top this for me, I’ve looked at hundreds of JC H1s and this one truly spoke to me. Only thing I’d change would maybe have it a little less dirty but at the same time I love that cause it adds to the hallway scene look.
I’m actually not sure, I’d love to get more information on it myself. JC started finishing up OG castles out of nowhere last year and that was the first I ever had heard of this mold
