Hello everyone, I just wanted to share my latest score. The NHK “The Killer” mask. It came in the mail yesterday, and boy was this thing worth the wait! The unboxing and some really cool production shots that Nick used. I friggin love this mask. The attention to detail that goes into a Handiboy mask is just unreal. I don’t own a lot of masks here and I’m no expert, but this mask sceams hero to me. The pics don’t really do it justice. I say that hats have to come off for all the work that Nick and Company have done to make this mask possible. The sculpt is awesome. I love it. I’ve read around a few boards the dislike for this mask and I just don’t understand why. Everybody swears on the NAG masks and they are I’m sure the best out there, but not everyone can afford to drop $500 on a mask especially with bills and life happening everyday. If you have one of those holy grails lets hope that your timing belt and water pump doesnt go, so you have to sell that bad boy. No disrespect to you high end guys, hell I wish I had some of the masks on here especially JC’s latest hero. Man that thing is as close as you will ever get to holding the actual hero I think. For the price the Handiboy line is beyond any expectation in my book. These masks are serious business, for serious collector’s.
Maybe one day I will have a NAG 75K and Night Owl Shat. But for know ,he has come home and am proud to have this mask and the NHK H2 in my slowly growing collection.
I think that is a fine score, the true boogeyman is all in the eye of the beholder anyhow!!! (IMO) I’ve been collecting off and on for years, owned several masks quite hard to drop dime sometimes! Lol
You have an awesome mask bro, and its true we all cant afford some of the high end masks, I cant afford a 99 shat but I can tell you this, I stare at my Warlock just as much as shat owners do! And now that I see yours I might have to rethink buying a CGP fear for the NHK!!!
when we first started with this project, our goal was to produce a great looking mask with an affordable price tag.
However, thats still a big chuck of change for some people
So,i took it one step further and produced a mask that was even 100.00 cheaper than the standard NHK…The BAD BOY line.
Same great detail, just a more economic hairing process using natural brown shettland, which doesnt have to be hand dyed.
Hi Everyone, I hope you all had a GREAT Thanksgiving. Thanks for all the complimens on my NHK. Nick really went to town on this mask. I was staring at both of them and noticed that even though they came from the same mold that they have significant details that set them apart. The eye cuts for example. On the NHK they look as they should for H1 and Nick Castle’s noggin. For the NHK H2 the eyecuts look more stretched out as per Dick Warlocks’ noggin. I was just staring in awe of the artistry put into each mask,and even my girlfriend started looking and pointing out the differences and she hates that I stare at my masks more than her. Just kidding.
These masks that Nick created are really something special. Tons of care and research went into it’s making, and I watched the video on the NHK H2 again last night, and you can tell that Nick loves what he does, and puts that love into every mask that he puts in the mail.
My girlfriend even pointed something out to me that I kind of felt, but never really thought about. She states that in Halloween 2 she swears that the friggin mask seems to change expression in a lot of scenes throughout the film. It shows evil, anger, frustration and pain. It’s all an trick on the eyes if you look at something like a statue ot a piece of art it may look as if it moves or changes somehow.
Anyway, I just wanted to thank Nick for what he does. And I’m very happy with my Handiboy masks, and look forward to his Halloween man mask!
