Okay so I’m very strange. Collecting is personal and nostalgic for me. The Nightowl Maniac had the perfect evil look I loved. I’m hoping we can get some current Maniac owners in here :jack_o_lantern:

Obviously for accuracy I can’t say anything beats the DB2, with amazing sculpts such as the 98proto, ID, 75k, etc not far behind. But nothing captures me like a good old Maniac. I’ll start off with my 2005 #1/1 Nightowl/AHG Maniac :smiling_imp:

If anyone posts some others I will share more! I currently own 8, unbelievably 5 of which are 2005 copies. Got a beautiful '06 from a good friend last year. Parted with one of my favorites but it went to a true collector. I hope to see some other Maniacs and I hope you enjoy the photos!

A great Myers mask capturing the sinister expression perfectly. Always wanted one but I’ll probably just overhaul the tots poster mask.

The Maniac was the mask that really got me into the hobby! Saw it about 20 years ago. Never did get a “real” one, but after a few busy years I got back into the hobby and discovered TOTS had released the Hospital and H4 Poster Mask while I wasn’t paying attention, and those were supposedly either the Maniac mold or very close.

So one of my bucket list items is complete as I consider this my “Grail” mask, and I painted it myself so I can always go back and touch it up without worry. This was during the rehair process, I’ve since made the hair less insane. I had a lot of fun and the TOTS poster mask can look really darn good and resemble the Maniac a lot! I want to redo a couple with different shades of white and hair colors.
