Nice Chad…I actually think the 75K looks a bit like S.Brackett’s old Kirk as it has more of a rounder face slightly. And its much less in $$. I just don’t see 1,700.00 difference in the two.

Yeah, I agree. It’s just my taste but I prefer the 75k after looking at it further… just comes across a more true to the real deal w/ the roundness and subtle features.
Yeah, the 75K to me anyway looks at least as good as the 2K. I can see these taking over the H78 crown for most converted Kirk…JC and Colin will be busy men this summer.
I just showed my wife the 3 pics I put together and asked her which mask she thinks looks closest to the original DP Kirk. She took a minute to compare and then said she thinks the 75K is closer. She’s no Kirk expert, but I do value her opinion. Yup, there are a lot of great conversions just waiting to happen. Nik, you’ve got yourself a winner for sure.
I agree I think the 75K looks more like the original. Some of the 2k’s features are too strong/puffy. However, the paint work on the 2ks is top notch. Best Kirk paint I’ver ever seen.
yep the 75k all the way.If haired and finished right it will look as good or better than the 2k.
Plus a conversion artist would be much more comfotable working with it since the person wouldnt have 2 grand in it .

Some people will try to get advantage of threads like that to bash the 2k,well the 2k is way more mint shape kirk,the 75k is a replica of the 75kirk the 2k an 75kirk in everything,hair paint latex type etc…since the 2ks are sold out go on and advertise the 75k though

I can see where Nik is coming from. I think it all depends on the pictures. I dont think overall the 75k is better than the 2k, but for the price its a no brainer. Both are fantastic and accurate masks. I do like the look of the 75k a little better in chads pictures though.
That was the idea,people to be able to get a crazy accurate kirk for the price they want,im still getting emails and pms for 2k kirks,these are sold out long ago though.If you guys remember this kirk is my offer to our boards and for the price there was voting from all members here i thought everyone will be happy about it:( but anyways the thing is that i strongly believe that its impossible for a more accurate mask than the 2k kirk,and thats because i spetn hours and hours to put even the slightest wrickle and its also made the exact same way Malone sculpted the original kirk…

I don’t think anyone is “Bashing” The Medley kirk looks fantastic & the 2K Kirk does indeed resemble it quite a bit but the Medley Kirk does not look like the Hero. Having said that, the 75K looks much like S.Brackett’s Kirk & his Kirk looked identical to the hero…Who ever has seen his Kirk will say the same exact thing. Both of Niks masks look great but because one chooses the one they like better & it happens to be the cheaper of the two is far from any type of Bashing.
Both beautiful Kirks but the 2K is in a world of it’s own.
