I think this looks incredible. I’ve been waiting on somebody to tackle this since the Hero photos were shared with us in 2018.
The artist posted it in Projects and Announcements and it didn’t get any attention. I haven’t seen it anywhere else. I think it’s fabulous!
He had his facebook account banned from stupid copyright claims over certain words, he also has had one of his masks given to Nick Castle, and Dick Warlock is also getting one too, sadly NAG had to do a copycat and that has completely overshadowed his original ground up sculpt

Don’t let my account fool you. I have been here since 2005. I can’t believe a mask of this quality is simply being ignored.
Activity here is basically nonexistent. So sad to see.

I don’t think it’s that (although yes the usage of the site has declined), I think it’s just the H1/2 market being stagnant for so long. The harsh reality is things kind of peaked with the ‘98 derived masks 10-13 years ago given the level of accuracy that gave us. There hasn’t been a true turning point since, I’d argue. When something truly revolutionary like the ID comes along activity spikes HARD. This is a neat piece, don’t get me wrong, it’s just kind of niche.

The I.D, the 13 and this O.G 45 mask are all original sculpts that really deserved more recognition, yet what happens? NAG comes out with copycats at the exact same time and all the praise goes to him, cause he can’t come up with anything original
I’ve been on and off this site so many times over the years. I personally have my grails and I think many of us do now. The site as a collective was more like “in search of”. Things have been found. Boots, coveralls, knives…….the debates on what, who, where and when have been settled. We even have attainable coverall and Case knife replicas that are top notch. That being said…….I miss the old days searching and searching and searching.
Same been here sense I was 15, now I’m 31 and just recently started coming back on regularly. Not as many discussions or posts anymore
