Interested to see which masks you’ve had for years and still own. I lost the account I used to use from 2003 but I purchased this back in '08 and as you can see, it’s taken its fair beating over the last decade. It is a GP Killer for anyone wondering. Stood the test of time for the most part
This is the oldest one I own. Cinema Secrets H8, got it back in 2002. After being worn, and in displayed in the rain, the years have actually been kind to it and I have been lucky. I wore it last year. Probably never part with it. I was young, and it was my first Myers mask!
That is a 2006 deluxe Don Post I believe and it’s actually the last Myer’s mask I think they made if I’m not mistaken. Might be worth some mula one day.
Yeah I’ve had this one for a while, I really don’t like how the hair is slicked back lol but I’ll keep it that way because that’s the way it came. Might be worth some money some time soon ya know? When did you let go of yours?
This is an old don post I have. I have had it for about 10 years now. I think it is from 2003 but I am not 100 percent on that. I bought it in I think 2008 or 2009.i can’t remember for sure.
I wish I had my old masks. I started with the Warlock, and have had 3 over the years. Had 2 different H78’s, 2 different Creeps, the Nemesis, My Inhuman mask, and a few others… but I’ve sold them all. My collection has been a revolving door of masks, coming and going over the years.
I hear ya man. I miss my AHG 2008 H78 and 2005 Psycho so much but that revolving door of masks is a great analogy. So many masks have gone to pay bills it sucks
And awesome to see these Don Post Myers masks! Don Post still had the best quality mass produced masks ever in my personal opinion without any competition. Of course latex rots but their vinyl masks are still hanging around from the 70s in mint condition and their monster masks are still in high demand.
Absolutely! So many great masks that have stood the test of time! I used to have a vintage Skull mask from them but parted with it. Wish I wouldn’t have. Still have the tag though, so at least something to remember it by.
Always jealous and drooling over the guitars in the background of your photos brother haha!
Beautiful mask man. I wish I never let go of my original, the subtle yellowing that occurred on all the original run copies is beautiful in my opinion and truly a piece of history
