we all know that the original Michael Myers mask was molded from Captain Kirk Shatner from Star Trek but i got qouestion…why did they used shatners face and not some other ?
Because if you remember at the beginning of the film we were told that Michael Myers is William Shatners sister

They chose out a Shatner mask and a Emmet Kelly mask, and out of them most people agreed the converted Shatner was scarier.
It was the only mask they could find that look’d like a human. it wasent halloween when they filmed the movie. Not much to choose from…
what he said… star trek was big then and a lack of human halloween mask lead them to that…
