Part Two of Mark Roberts interview page 6!

Holy mackerel, this is awesome. Pretty important film history on display.

I keep coming back to check this every 5-10 minutes. I can’t stop looking at it. Adding the pic to the gallery!

Thank you very much Mark Roberts & Benny “Michaelantern” for making this possible.   So glad to see the Hero mask still alive. You guys simply rock!!!

This is awesome, thanks for posting this!

And I would definitely recommend a “stabilization” from Spina, will help the mask live longer while maintaining its originality.

Glad to see you here Mark and you are an awesome guy as well, thanks for taking the time do this for everyone. Very cool of you my friend!

Good stuff. Thanks for all involved in making it happen. Can’t wait for part 2

i havnt felt this way since I saw the movie of the castaways getting rescued from Gilligan’s Island…such a happy feeling of closer :stuck_out_tongue:

When i first laid eyes on the new pic of the hero, it was like seeing one of your favorite entertainers…long gone from the public eye, but returning for one last show…maybe to show, they’ve still got it …older, wrinkled and worn with age, but with just enough shadow of their prime to bring one last smile  and maybe a tear  , to their adoring fans

THANK YOU, Benny and Mark!

Mark, you and Benny have done so much to make us all incredibly happy. You should both be very proud to have dkne something so magnificent for us fans. The least we can do is offer our gratitude. Stay spooky, dude!

Thanks for this awesome interview and pics !

This. Thank you both for doing this for us!

I was out of town this weekend so I missed this hitting.

Very cool.

Funny how people run their mouth and start rumors that are so far from the truth. We all get caught up in it I guess. I assumed it was long gone too just because of how bad the chin had fallen apart. But yeah, Just because he doesn’t post here doesn’t mean he isn’t a big collector doing his best to keep the mask alive.

I’m happy he’s thinking about restoring it. I kind of like it the way it is though.
Also cool that he likes the KHDW so much.

Thanks for taking the time to share this for us.

It’s great to see the mask, but as a novice when it comes to masks, what could be done to repair the mouth? It looks beyond repair to me. I

i’ve seen tom spina work miracles…i think he has alien technolegy

They would have to remold a piece that fits it perfectly and then patch it I guess. Seems like a bad idea to me and almost impossible to fix perfectly due to measurements. I mean it’s possible… but matching it perfectly seems impossible. I think Ken could come up with the most perfect measurements and create a chin piece for it better than anybody else…so it would need to be a collaboration.
I think leaving it as it is is better.
