Patrick Lussier to direct H3D

Variety has revealed the name of the filmmaker who’s currently in discussions with Dimension Films to write and direct HALLOWEEN 3-D, which the company announced the moment it was clear the dimensional FINAL DESTINATION had trounced HALLOWEEN II at the box office. The trade also reports that Dimension is at work on yet another CHILDREN OF THE CORN flick.

Patrick Lussier, who has a long history with Dimension (editing the SCREAM pics and helming the DRACULA franchise), and most recently revisited another classic slasher in 3-D with MY BLOODY VALENTINE, is the man in talks to do the latest Michael Myers adventure. I thought H3 wasnt happening?.. or is H3 still going ahead?

Well according to Variety it is…

God this series has gone down the shitter. No more story, just set ups to cheap 3D gags is what lays ahead for us. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted I guess.

Variety itself is NO source to be taken seriously…

TRUST me on this one.

WELL, I think that myers hasn’t gotten to the point of no revival… and I can tell you there’s something that has been finished that could bring back our favorite man… an original MYERS.

I’d be a lot more excited if they didn’t pick up where Rob’s H2 left off. We need a reboot from the reboot…back to more of a classic Myers.

I enjoyed MBV-3D, so IMO that is a big plus.

i can’t wait to be honest. i get damn tired of waiting for like 5-10 years for a new one. so im excited, on what myers will look like and where it will be filmed and all that good stuff!!

now i can’t but wonder if it will pick up where left off??

maybe laurie will be the killer and michael and mother will be leading her to kill??

who knows for now!!! :axe:

i didn’t particularly ENJOY the my bloody valentine remake… so, meh…

They should do some kind of contest, with the fans… a film competition to find the best man for the job.
