Right in time for Halloween comes a HUGE treat! It appears that a rare pic of Jamie Lee Curtis wearing one of the stunt masks from Halloween has surfaced. From what I understand the pic was taken late 1978/early 1979.

It is indeed the reshoot stunt mask(some naysayers tend to disagree, laugh and point the finger).
You can see the mouth slit is way smaller than the hero.
Everything even down to the brows match up

One theory did pop into mind after seeing this.
I assume Debra Hill took home the stunt and it was indeed Castle who took home the hero before H2 started. I’m sure JLC asked Debra for the mask for this shoot, not Castle. Same with them SNL candid shots she did with the stunt mask.
I hardly doubt she’d ask Castle since she was very close friends with Debra.
Castle recently mentioned he took home the Hero after filming rapped and had it displayed above his fireplace until Debra asked for it back for H2.
Good theory BBK. I’d love to find some inside shots of Debra’s house at the time of this pic.

That seems to be the only pic with her with the mask from that session, of course I can be wrong.lol

If it is fake, then someone did a great job. Look at the left arm of JLC in the pics. Her red top seems to be cut around the cuffs in both the mask pic and the photoshoot pic.
Quite sure it’s real…every detail matches up. Very cool!

Haha…I was actually checking all the non-mask details…like the clothes, that little necklace she has on, and yes, the shape and size of those beauties!
