Pic of Jamie Lee Curtis wearing one of the stunt masks?

Can somebody answer my question as to “when or if” they changed the blonde kirk hair to brown on all the masks, hero and stunt

I thought it was blonde, misted black

It is blonde misted black.lol
Its the lighting, even my masks look like that depending on lighting and camera settings.
The masks were NEVER rehaired

Pretty cool!

What if this was the mask DPS made for Halloween? The paint looks quite different, almost transparent. If it was made by DPS, maybe they used different hair too?

Also, by the darker eyebrows, is the mask Tony Moran wore in the unmasking.?

That’s what I assume Billy

I totally agree with that.

I took these pics the other day. The hair on the mask is really close in color to actual Kirk hair IMO, but as you can see in the second pic the hair looks really dark because of the lighting:

I remember in that A Cut Above documentary (if my memory is correct) it’s mentioned that everyone wore the mask at some point…they all liked to put it on and joke around during the filming process.

Amazing picture for a mask nut.Paints a picture seeing her torn sweater. That mask changed her life and bank account along with her excellent talent.

I thought the blonde/orange look was H2 when it had faded an degraded a bit.

This is next to Holy Grail in terms of pictures of these masks (the Holy Grail would be a picture like this of the Hero itself). I never thought I’d see the day when we’d find a full color, day time, decent quality shot of one of these masks! I didn’t. I didn’t think a picture like this existed. I saw this thread, and figured “Oh, another B&W, I’m sure this’ll be worth a peek”. I have never been so happy to have been proven wrong in my life! This is fantastic, and so close to Halloween, too!

My only question is, what is that fleshy colored spot on the forehead? It’s smaller in H2, but it’s there, too. What is it? The paint chipping?

This is an incredible thread! Thanks for posting these pictures!

First to see pictures of one of the masks used in Halloween where it’s not all distorted by the shape of the actors’ face. It’s like this mask is on a stand.

Second, well this is really first(ha-ha), these are great pictures of Jamie Lee Curtis. She’s a real hottie.

BTW, I also see the 75K in this one.

TOTALLY Davy! :open_mouth: Dude this is incredible that this thing surfaced! :prayer: :pumpkin: :stuck_out_tongue:
Happy Halloween to all of us for this one!

Awesome find! Thanks for sharing, Benny and Kaizu. Here, I fixed it!

Mark

Yep, after looking over and over, and continued reading, disregard my previous post… I’m convinced, and like Davy said, thought I would never see a clear close up color daytime photo of any of the original three. This is fantastic.

Funny seeing it in daylight there appears to be little to no weathering. Which indicates all shadowing filmed in dim lighting.

Guess all we have to do is paint a Myers mask white and boom, screen accurate lol

Its got the cheek and chin lines though. but yeah movies are about accuracy.
Unfortunately there isn’t a film crew following us around 24.7 haha

To be fair, most of the neck is covered, and flash really takes away good features like that. Here’s an image on how the mask would look with some better lighting. The features are more sharp, the shadows are more deep, and you can see where the pain has rubbed away on the nose.

Didn’t Seinfeld break up with a girl beause she had MAN HANDS?

With JLC’s sweater puppies, I think he would have given her a pass.
