Just picked up an SS Hiro. I’m actually pleasantly surprised by this mask. For the fact it’s not as well loved by folks as other Indy masks are, I have to say, this is not bad at all.
Now this was a second hand purchase, and the mask was rehauled at some point, but I think it’s a great mask. In fact it pulls off both H1 and H2 pretty well! I tried for both an H1 and H2 look in the worn shots as you will see. Let me know what you all think.
That hair is amazing on that copy best copy I seen for sure nice pick up

Actually looks better worn
Yeah it’s fine just unworn, but when worn it really takes shape. It helps that it fits me snug and I’m able to change the look drastically with just where my chin is in the mask.
If I have it fully on it has the H2 wide look, but just moving my chin to just below the chin of the mask, it instantly takes on the Castle look.
Love the looks I can get out of it worn. Unworn it’s just fine, but worn it really shines.
I did put the slit in the mouth, which helps, as it did not come with the mouth open. The seller offered to put the opening in the mouth but I wasn’t sure if I wanted it open until I had it in hand. It was definitely the right call to open it up.
I’m pretty happy with it, it looks great worn.

Great pick up! I just got rid of my first one, which was the H1 in my collection for a while. It was replaced by a re-hauled Hiro that I am just crazy about. Several years ago James Carter did a re-haul of a Hiro that is still on this site in the older posts.
This mask is a great stand alone but when it’s been reworked, it rivals any H1 out there. Great pics by the way!
Wow I really thought it was 2 different masks in this post & your prior one! That is a great mask & definitely takes on both looks 
Yep it’s the same mask, I was pleasantly surprised at the different looks I could pull off with it.
However, this is one of two masks I picked up recently, the other is going to be here next week sometime, it’s a surprise
