Ive been watching the Rz films and looking at the pics of the screen used masks. This is just my opinion and i was wondering what everyone else thought. Im not taking anything away from the Buried, unearthed, Sociopath, Hss or any other Rz masks out there. There are alot of sick masks, and i feel like we have the perfect replica mask for an animatronic head. But do we have the perfect film replica? I thought we were done with Rz masks, i felt we had the perfect replica. but after looking at some screenshots and watching the movies and the buzznet photos in the gallery. I feel like there is still room from imrovement on the H1, H1 clean definately, and the H2. A good but of improvement actually. Main areas being the length of the forehead, the neck, the eyecuts and the nose. Not paint so much as all masks differ, just mainly the sculpts. Does anyone else feel this way? Again, im not taking anything away from any of the great replicas out there, just as the kirk replica, im just out for the perfect mask as everyone else is.

i feel the EXACT same way…and dude the animatronic head is a different sculpt…everyone thinks its from the screenused mold…wayne jus mocked it the best he could…thats why i feel theres room for improvement…we have the best RZ we may ever get though i will say that…
Ive seen a couple pictures of different masks used in the movie and they all seem to vary. They are all different if you look closely. No one will probably wont ever own the perfect mask unless you have one of the HERO masks from either movie. If you think about it even if wayne toth did it. It wouldnt be exact. I guess it all depends on how you perceive things as a person. Thats why some like the buried, unearthed, sociopath, and hss. I think there may be a little more improvent but not much at all. This is my opinion so dont bash me lol just putting in my 2 cents
Without the animatronic head to me, we would NOT have a great RZ mask! The movie mask is a little different as well… Eye cuts are a huge deal to me on the RZ mask’s…
I think the paint can always be worked on. Even if people had the hero mask they would think it was off compared to how it looked on film ya know. Movie lighting has a lot to do with the look of things on screen.
Scott i was about to say the same thing its all about the lighting and the way it is shot or the photo is taken. Our masks on mm.net need to be next to the actual hero mask in person for us to get the actual verdict on whether it can be improved or not you cant base it on photos i think.
i think the best way to tell is to look at the buzznet video and pics or videos of the replicas. the lighting in the office building wasnt played with, and the mask is how it is and looks how it looks in that vid IMO. And none of the replicas match that mask IMO. I think for me the nose and forehead is the problem in the replicas.
That Buzznet video clip is awesome! If the Buried was painted lighter like that particuliar mask, we would pretty much have it! I feel Sam paints a killer H9 mask and his has that lighter paint job that I personally love! I prefer the look of the mask as it looks on screen, NOT how the actual movie mask looks in person…
Yeah I think we have the best we are ever going to get…Room for improvement maybe, but not by a wide margin…Im 100% happy with the buried…It does it for me and there so may nice copys out there…Actually I havent seen a bad one yet…Scott is 100% right on paint…It will always vary from one to another…It depends on what the beholder see’s IMO…Im a fan of how a mask looks on screen and in person…So naturally I want a mask that has both paint scheme’s(which is why I need more buried mask LoL)…But with the Buried, Uneathed, HSS H9, and Nik’s H9 I think we have the best we are most likely ever going to see…
I believe that it’s like some one here said about the freddy sweater and the RZ coveralls patches"there is a difference between “SCREEN ACC. and PROP ACC.” and the animatronic head WAS sculpted by wayne toth right? SO it was his best re-sculpt of the screen used mask… so i don’t know. I like all the all the replicas even the non accurate ones, but some mask could use some improvement but for the most part I am happy with the ones we have , and one more thing to think about is on halloween night when you are “stalkin” down the street every one that sees you will think you are tyler mane
on another note i like the RZ clean mask and there is not many of those (well kind of) i think the sociopath clean pulls of the “I wanta do it with the mask on” scene look really well. well i am not the master of masks and i am just telling my thoughts
, and one more thing to think about is on halloween night when you are “stalkin” down the street every one that sees you will think you are tyler mane
