At SDCC there was a guy by the name of SDCostumeguy outside promoting the new film wearing this mask. He claims on instagram the mask was not marked in any way or stamped and will not say where he received it. It’s very possible it could be the TOTS 2018 Myers but I’m unsure. Below I provide pics and a side by side comparison of the cosplayer next to James Jude Courtney in the costume in a recent production photo. All in all I’m on the fence. I’m very happy about the mask but I will still likely get it repainted and possibly re haired. I’m in it for complete accuracy but that’s just me.
There’s definitely something up with the masks right eye. I think SDCostumeGuy said they put in material to make the eyes black for the pictures, that could explain it, right? Maybe they messed up the way the eye looks during the process. It looks strange in the last pic especially.

SDCostumeGuy said he most likely got 2 different masks. The one in the hotel was tight on him apparently. The next day when they gave him the mask back, it fit better.

they probably stretched the mask, i saw all the shots he posted in the costume on Facebook, the hair is also something I wonder about the quality on
How does one naturally stretch a mask if you don’t mind?
If you look close enough, that is a shadow. Unless you’re talking about the trim job there. Then yes, I see it as well.

I’m thinking SDCostumeGuy altered the mask to let himself see better, or there was a mess-up when they put the mesh in the eyes
Coveralls are Charcoal but damn if they don’t pull off a greenish look. Crazy
These are non worn photos of the mask by SDCostumeGuy. It was confirmed this is in fact the TOTS mask. Strangely the eye mentioned earlier looks super different now imo.
The eye darkening was post processing. That’s prob why why eye looks messed up.
