I think everyone must have one or two shots of their masks that are their favorites.
I just took my favoite pic a couple nites ago…
i think the lighting really shows off the texture, with blue shadows bringing an ominus presence to the mask. I like how the eyes are mostly shadowed with a hint of the lower lash section showing…
i dont have any special equipment. I had 3 light sources: 1 bulb on each side shining from the rear and a blue bulb shining downward on the front.
Removed the background in photoshop and added the blue background and eye highlights.
i put the white balance on my camera for ‘‘incandescent lighting’’. also used a tripod to keep the cam steady for a sharp picture.
