What is with the triangle around the nose? is it ti represent the nose exstention? BTW that is a killer mask, the best H5.

yes it is! wow great thread, that is one heck of a mask! :open_mouth:

Ryan, can’t thank you enough for those awesome pictures man!

I actually just ordered one last night! Anyone else with these masks, post away!

Great mask!!

It truly is an amazing mask.I really want one,Im trying to decide whether to get a ssn h5 or a h78 special edition, hmmm

The SSN H5 is cast DIRECTLY off the movie mask. There should be no question which mask to buy.

this maybe newbie but i have a question, what is a brute?

A “brute” is a beast or ugly looking man. The mask Myers wears in the “car scene” is called “The Brute” by the West German mask company that created the original masks.

Here’s SSN’s replica cast of the actual mask used in the film.

oh yeah, thanks guys, totally forgot about that mask lol :axe:

That mask looks amazing!
Only things I don’t like are the scars around the nose, and the colour… I would like to see one a bit more pale like in the Myers House finale.

they id do whiter paint schemes too i think but this one is supposed to replicate it after the film as if you own the screen used mask!!!

Just to clarify, the only reason that mine isn’t white is that some SSN paintjobs have a tendency to yellow after a few years. When I first got it, it was a mixture of white and grays. I would recommend ANYONE interested to purchase one of these, as the service I have experienced through SSN was phenomenal. I hear Sean even offers repaints for yellowed SSN masks, but don’t quote me on that.

The “triangle”, as you called it, is screen- and prop-accurate to Don Shanks’ personal stunt mask from the film. The nose/mouth pieces on these replicas were molded directly from his mask, which is THE only known surviving production casting with both the nose and mouth pieces still attached. The hero mask is in…pretty bad condition these days. The nose/mouth pieces on it were originally blended a whole lot better than any of the stunt masks. However, those pieces have long been torn off. ( :frowning: )

Cheers,

Ryan

I need that :open_mouth: :open_mouth:

Haha, yeah I can see how accurate this mask is, but I was wondering how possible it would be to remove the triangle.
