Isn’t it a bit weird that they use what looks to be a 10-inch J.A. Heckel Knife in the posters and not the 8-inch Knife?
They really should have gone with the 10-inch - it’s not too big but not too small either.

It’s hard to tell the exact size in the promotion photos but it is definitely a tad larger. The difference is minimal though. J enjoyed the new film but there is nothing as menacing as the original Lamson / Case
Thinking that may be the knife mentioned is this thread maybe. The second knife in the film is quite larger and more vintage looking like the knife in the promo shots.

Or it’s just a knife they had on hand for the photo shoot and didn’t have either of the actual knives from the the film. Trying to zoom in the handle does look more like a Henckel.

It’s definitely not the Rex (which by the way, I think it is a Clyde after re-examining!). I think it’s probably the 10” JA Knife.

Yeah it definitely looks more like the JA Henckel. The longer blade would also look better for the photo shoot than the smaller 8” so that alone could have been the reasoning behind using it.

It’s definitely a J.A Heckles International 10’ knife, look closely at the curve bit connecting the heel and bolster to the handle. Compare it to the REX and there’s a clear difference.
Think we (I) found the promo shot knife.
It kinda depends on which promo shot we’re looking at. Some used the other knife (I identified it as a Rex, but after further examination it could be a Clyde instead). But the one talked about in this thread is a 10’ Henckels
