Let’s see how much success the thread has. Which mask do YOU like better? I have to say the creep is more screen accurate, but I like the style of the Psycho more. Still 2 of the best masks ever. Thoughts??
Can someone post a side by side comparison?
In my opinion the Creep is a lot more accurate and has a lot more details, but I think the details that are on my Psycho are more noticeable. The Psycho is a very distinctive mask once you get to know it, and can be easily picked out of a line up once you get to know it’s features. Here’s a picture of my Creep and Psycho together:

The Psycho has many more details in the sculpt and being a re-tooled/sculpted NMM78 is closer to the Kirk, but it’s a stylized mask meant to give off a particular worn look. The Psycho also has built in eye cuts due to the source Kirk that was pressed to become the NMM 78 having the eyes already cut. The eye cuts on the Psycho are further stylized to give off a worn look. Psychos are also a larger mask with he SE being smaller than other Psychos.
The Creep/Shat used the Shatner lifecast (that was pressed and re-sculpted to become the original Kirk mask) as the basis, and is meant more so to give off a neutral unworn Kirk/Shape mask vibe, therefore it can more easily mold to the wearer’s head and give off a Castle stretch, Warlock stretch, or neutral Wallace worn vibe. The Shat and Creep come in both standard and large sizes, so most peoples’ head sizes will be covered.
All that analysis aside I like the Psycho a little bit better myself, more so the 2005 and SE versions. While the Psycho’s built in eye-cuts aren’t ideal, they can be built up with mask latex. The Shat/Creep has a fantastic shape to the mask, but the one drawback for me is the lack of the finer details in the sculpt that masks that can trace lineage from a pressing or laser scan of a Kirk have or even a mask like the DB2 which is supposedly sculpted from scratch or the 2K which also used a lifecast base. Granted the Creep and Shat are far more affordable than those masks, but I have a particular love for tiny details more so than others.
See, that’s why I love coming to this place every day. Always an opportunity to learn something new.
As for my favorite, that’s a hard question to answer. I fell in love with the Psycho the first time I ever saw it and it’s always been a Hero mask to me in so many ways for the longest time. But, now that I have a Creep, I see so much of the Hero in it, I can’t help but to love it’s accuracy. It captures the BTS pics I have of the Hero so well it’s almost scary. I would have to say I love them both equally. There’s no choosing between the two for me. If this were a poll, I wouldn’t be able to answer the question because the Psycho is a long time love of mine and the Creep is a newly acquired love of mine.

As for me owning both I would have to say I like the Creep better. When its overhauled which most wouldn’t as its awesome just the way it is, it becomes a incredible grail that I will never sell! Benny totally killed mine! Pics courtesy of Benny 
Ehh, I have both… For me I like the Creep better as far as the overall look, granted I have an 08 psycho, not the 05. Which looks much better than the 08. However I will say this, as awesome as the creep is, in the dark, the psycho has a "DaaaAMNnnn!!! Factor that I have yet to see in any other mask. Still the creep/shat gets my vote though.
Through all my rambling, what I was getting at is, yes creep/shat look more accurate, ESP when an artist gets ahold of it, but like the Hero mask, the psycho has a very simplistic, yet Very disturbing look to it, like Wallace said its uncomfortable.

Although they almost look the same, the psycho almost looks bug eyed to me. Idk if it’s just smaller face or what but the cuts look the same on each mask so idk why it looks that way to me haha!! Both are Gnarly!
