Okay, so some of you may know that I have a Psychopath H2 up for sell in the classifieds section. If you want to take a look, I’ll put a link down at the bottom on the page. Anyway, I have changed it up a bit, and I wanted to get some opinions from other members. Plus, I wouldn’t want to sel the mask as it is now, when the buyer is expecting the mask to look like it does in the picture. I’ll also show how the mask is imperfect, which is the reason I’m not asking for what I paid in the classifieds.
The minor changes I did is the hair. When I got it, it was a hot mess, seriously! It had everything going on but accuracy, if you know what I mean. But don’t get me wrong, it’s a nice mask for sure! Here’s a picture I took of the mask only a moment after I recieved it.
The major detail I changed is the blood on the mask. In all honesty, the blood that was on it looked like black and red paint lines were just randomly stroked on. So, I found one of RampageOf78’s old topics where he suggested spfx makeup called “Bloody Scab”. This thing worked wonders! When I put this stuff on the mask, I kind of put a little to much, so the mask is heavly bloodied (word?). However, I really like it this way, it adds a little… character to it. Anyway, here’s a picture of the blood when I first got the mask.
And now, this is what the mask looks like after I changed up the blood and hair. There’s a lot of pictures, so wait just a minute to let them all load! This also includes where Casey sort of messed up the hair. There’s a visible “bald” spot where you can see how the hair was glued in, and unfortunately, this was visible even before the hair started falling out. Perhaps this mask was rushed and shipped before a final inspection. Also, all these pictures are mine, so please don’t take them!
I owned one of caseys original psychopath V2 the H9 mask.So much of the hair fell out only after a few months.I got it 2nd hand though. He had used small amounts of hot glue and the hair never had a chance.I rehaired it and it looked much better.I think your mask was rushed too.The blood work you did looks much better. It will be a hard sale at $200 with the hair in that shape.I think I would have had to send it right back to him.If you have it rehaired and weather the paint up a bit it will be a keeper.I thought he had changed the way he haired mask and had improved in that area but that one looks shabby.Good luck man…
I think I’ll just have it rehaired and keep it. As for the paint up, I’d like to convert this mask to an exposed, but I don’t know who’d know how to do this.
Looking good man. Sorry you feel as if you wasted your time posting for a while I was at work and couldn’t get on the net. Just send it my way and I can get it rehaired for you it will look killer.
lol dont worry i thought i had friends too…and not one of them posted in my thread…it was people i barely know.
but anyway…if your gonna convert to half mask…you should reeeeallllly be careful…you can F that one up so easy…
also people think that his gun shot wound side of his mask is ALL blood…you can still see alot of greys…the fango cover is a perfect example…some people just kind of think its overloaded with blood, not really looking at accuracy yet cause it hasnt been that long since the movie dropped…in a nutshell i think less blood on him would be more accurate.
shawn…this ones easy…he prob thought he was getting someting close to the stock picture with the H2 gunshot…when it comes you, usually get a rushed copy that looks nothing like it…noone has said it but same with the exposed IMO they ALL have the same paint EXCEPT the protos…just look at his new revolver style all grey jus like the gunshot…just no blood…which makes me wonder why it took him so long to realease it
Rampage: He probably didn’t notice about the Revolver cover until Sam released his then it gave him a new idea for marketing. I love Casey’s work but as I know he has made 4 H9’s and thats quite a few if you ask me.
This is what the blood looks like on the actual screen used mask
