I must have watched “Halloween H20” fifty times over the years, but was never bothered by this before. However, after watching it today, I couldn’t help but find it odd that the detectives refer to her as “Marion Whittington” in the beginning. I’m pretty sure it’s not in canon that she got married, so does anybody know why this is?

Very interesting! Thanks Kaizu. It does say on there, under “Known Relatives”, that there was a “Mr. Chambers”. So, she may have been married and then got a divorce, reverting back to her maiden name. Who knows how reliable that is, though.
