H2- only for nostalgias reasons when I was a kid
H3- even though no Myers and as a kid it pissed me off
Ends-liked because it was better than expected and watchable
2018 disappointed when I left the theater….
Kills- only finished watching hoping for some nudity lol
I hopped off completely for the rest of this train…

H-1 1978 and H-2 1981 are equal for me, and they’re Head and Shoulders the Absolute Best in the Franchise, IMO… Not only are they my Favorite Halloween Films, but they’re my 2 Favorite Films of all Time, Period.

H-2018 (H40).

RZ H-1.

Halloween Kills.

Halloween Ends (This was a fairly steep Drop-Off from Kills for me).

RZ H-2.

H-5 and H-4 are pretty close, but I’ll put 5 above it because I’m Personally not a big fan of George P. Wilbur as Myers… I know, Blasphemy.

H20… A part of me wanted to rank it above H-5 and H-4 because of Jamie Lee Curtis, but aside from that I thought quite a bit less of the film overall compared to those two.

H-6

Decided to not even Consider Season of the Witch a Part of the Franchise, and I personally thought Halloween: Resurrection was an Abominable Mess that had NO Business being made… Not to mention the tail end of the film comes off as a deliberate slap in the face to anyone who loves or even remotely cares for the Michael Myers character… I give it an F-. …ANDY

Man…I don’t know anymore.

1-3 is a fantastic trilogy. Yes, I love 3 even though it doesn’t have Myers in it. Still a great horror movie.

4-6 I don’t like at all. I hate the Thorn trilogy, the masks are all terrible and the story is garbage.

H20 is a great return to form. Resurrection sucks.

Love the first Rob Zombie one. It’s not the shape, it’s a very different take on the character, but I love it. Don’t know why people accept Joker as a vastly different take but not this different take on Myers. Makes no sense to me. Zombie did his own thing. The sequel is…decent, but pointless. Still nowhere near as bad as people make it out to be.

The DGG trilogy is…ok. Kills is my favorite of the three because it’s so batshit crazy with all the kills and Michael is the most intimidating he is in the entire franchise outside the Rob Zombie ones. 2018 is decent…I like it, but I found it a little dull. What I hate about the DGG films is that there’s like no suspense or tension in any of them. They don’t feel like horror films at all. They’re character dramas. So when Michael isn’t on screen it feels like I’m watching a soap opera, and I’m f-ing bored. Ends was…bizarre. I didn’t really like it all that much and it’s probably my least favorite of the trilogy. I appreciated the anthology route they went with it, and I think the story would have been awesome in its own film…but not as a conclusion to this trilogy they built up. It’s bizarre to me that they thought this was a good idea. Halloween 3 made sense because Halloween 2 was a conclusive ending. Halloween Kills was not. And honestly, even getting past all that, Ends wasn’t a good horror film. It felt like a lifetime movie. I will always love an anthology angle, I’m a huge fan of that, but not as a conclusion to a trilogy, and also DGG is not a horror director. I’m sad that he’s the guy that’s gonna be an Exorcist trilogy.
