For me best to worst:
Halloween
Halloween Kills (only because I loved the flashback scenes)
Halloween Ends
My order is also the release order too.
HALLOWEEN (2018)
The first and best in this new trilogy. It brought us back to the world of Haddonfield, IL and the characters of Laurie Strode and Michael Myers. It was the most “cinematic” of the trilogy.
HALLOWEEN KILLS
A pure and unabashedly fun entry to the trilogy. It was absolute bloody carnage with Michael in full berserker mode. Also has the most iconic shot in the franchise with Michael walking out of Laurie’s burning house.
HALLOWEEN ENDS
A very interesting and almost cerebral take on the nature of evil. A movie that I very much enjoyed, but is not at all what I would have wanted as a closer to a trilogy, however, playing the cards we were dealt, I accept it for what it is and was able to very much enjoy. Although the final fight with Laurie and Michael was all too short, I loved it anyway.
Halloween 2018. Decent. Not an over the top story. Loved JJC and the mask.
Halloween Kills: Barely watchable. Lame story. Main focus was kills and effects. JJC and Kills mask was again top notch.
Halloween Ends: Mask looked decent. JJC did what he ment to do, but Myers was just weak and lame.
Agree. The order of the trilogy is the order that they were released. H18 > Kills > Ends. In retrospect, it would’ve been better if they just released H18 and stopped.
The only one I really liked was Halloween (2018)
Love all 3. But this is easy and I think almost universally we will pretty much all agree they are ranked by order they were released.
I guess I’m the odd one out.

KILLS
KILLS is a perfect example of why the Horror genre isn’t taken seriously in Hollywood.
- 2018
- Ends
- Kills
As a Halloween fan, I loved Kills; it was a gruesome, fun ride. However, I admit objectively speaking, it’s not a good movie.
The other two were very well done.
1.2018
2. Kills
3. Ends
I really enjoyed 2018 but Kills was ok but Ends was just flat out trash
- H18
- HK
- Giving Rob Zombie an apology
- Ends
2018
Wide gap
Kills
Ends
Lol I agree
Good
Bad
And the ugly
I think everyone knows which ones I’m referring to.
The only thing this trilogy did, was make me appreciate Rob’s movies more. So, If that was the intention, they did it.
I rank them in the order of their release.
That is actually funny af
Ends 8/10 for having balls and being difficult.
2018 7/10 for being a well shot alternative sequel, however pointless.
Kills 5/10 for the flashbacks alone, otherwise it would be ranked much lower.
Overall the trilogy gets a 7 from me, forgettable rehashes, but fun to have Michael back in the limelight.
