Ok…I know we’ve been over and over and over this, but bare with me. I know there was a stunt and a Hero. Where did this 3rd mask come from? :unamused:

The story that Tommy Lee Wallace told me was that he purchased 4 Kirk’s. The first one he converted he messed up and threw away. He converted the other 3 and one became the hero mask & that left 2 back up stunt masks.

J-man, I always thought that was a mini-poster for Eyes Of Laura Mars. John Carpenter wrote the screenplay for that film.

I love that pic! I just wish someone has one that’s not too small or too big. I have yet to see a clear and great pic of this one.

10 years ago he said he bought 2 kirks, then I hear 3 and now 4? Im not saying anything, but memeries do fade. Another story goes. JC and some friends went into DPS during production with the hero that tommy made and asked for a couple more made to look like this. DPS made the mask in the far back of the movie wrap photo. It’s the one with the black hair and sideburns. The 2 pictures are great to see. Nothing better than a room full of guitars beer and screen used 75 Kirks :drinkers:
