Here’s a rare comparison of all 3 original versions… , I may be the only one who has owned all 3 together ) who knows…
My thoughts on each mask:
Khsle: smallest of the 3… A tight fit… imo makes an even better H1 do to the slim longer nose look with small eyes…
Khdw: Largest of the 3, but still an accurate hero size imo… Can pull off a great H1 or H2 with the right displaying…
Khas: Have not tried it on yet, but wow… might be my fav possibly of the bunch… An amazing H1 phone scene like I’ve never felt… great tear drop overall shape… Love it !
Each is its own sculpt and look with vast structural differences…
These will stay in my collection as home… Will do worn shots of the new Khas… as I have done with the other 2… Years ago, I just wished to own the Khdw, but never imagined it would be possible to own all 3…
I’m more of a KHU guy, but the historic significance, the collaboration with Dick Warlock, adding on to the dead on stretch look, nothing like this ever came out back then! It was the best of the best you can get! I think what appealed to me is people taking screen captures and putting it on the KHDW sculpt, and it matches!
The KHDW introduced me to Ken’s work, and I knew I had to have a piece from him!
I would LOVE to own a KHDW before I pass, I know this is a must have mask if given the chance!
I used to own that KH/AS, it’s a monster of a mask! Looking back at it now, I’m not sure why I sold it, honestly should’ve kept it.
