Yeah, I got done by him a couple of days ago. I paid for a decent mask and got sent a pile of sh*t.
The image shows 2 completely different masks… the one on the left is what I paid for and the one on the right is what he sent (I borrowed the right pic from another post about this guy)… Did he honestly (in the loosest sense) think he could get away with this?
Anyway, I immediately messaged him to demand an explanation… he came back with:
"hello, I’m very sorry if you are not satisfied with the item. we sell a lot of myers masks and normally the buyers are very happy with these masks for this low price. however, I will try to find a solution, I have 3 suggestions. 1. we can change the mask 2. I can send a part refund of 20 % 3. I can send a great FANTOMAS foam latex mask from greyland-film for free to you, picture: http://250kb.de/u/100630/j/Q3F2LTwB8uGh.jpg

Hi, I’m not really bothered if people are happy with their masks. I paid for the mask I saw pictured on your eBay page, which looks like a good Myers mask, what I received was a completely different mask from a completely different sculpt. This is not only against eBay rules, but against the law to advertise one thing and sell another. I will be happy when you send me the mask I paid for and not a cheap bad copy. The mask you sent me is one of the worst masks I have seen, the hair is really badly glued on and is really bad quality, the sculpt looks nothing like Shatner or even the mask you have pictured on your sale page. Please send me the mask I paid for. I will accept nothing else and will take this up with eBay if I don’t get it. Regards, Simon.
Anyways… to cut a long story short, after another demanding email and another back from him saying they were the same masks… he gave me a full refund including the postage! I think after I told him I own a Psycho, Nemesis and a UL75, he folded and gave in.
This was a recast of sams h2 mask.Sam knows that the guy recast it.Sam contacted him and contacted ebay about it .They did not do anything about it though.Theres a topic in the rz section somewhere about all of it…

What exactly is a recast? Obviously it’s not something cool.
Its when you take another artist mask and cast that mask with ultracal 30,silicone or whatever material, and make your own mold.They then start pouring there own copies and selling it like its there work.Most recast can be spotted a mile away because the mask loses detail and usually looks like garbage.Alot of artist have recast mask and peoples opinions differ on this alot.Its a very touchy subject to say the least.
Yeah I made an informative post against this guy a while back on ebay letting all of ebay know what he was doing…I even contacted ebay on the matter…I had a dozen people thank for me for it and saved a bunch of people from getting screwed…I dont think its right how that guy gets away with it and I couldnt stand seing him sell a recast of sams H9…So I tried to stop it and it worked for quite some time…Guess he is back at it…Maybe I will have to make another post …Listing fee’s dont bother me if it saves people from getting ripped…In my informative listing I even showed a picture of sams mask and the mask they would be getting…Told them to contact me if they were interested in the real deal and I would send them in the right direction…I sent quite a few poeple to sam…Dont know if they bought from him but hell at least I tried to shut the scum bag down…I think im going to do it again…Later guys
and STILL, the guy has 100% feedback. I really don’t understand you guys. You’d be doing the community and future buyers a huge service by leaving NEGATIVE feedback, even if you get a refund. People need to know and when they see 100% they think it’s legit. So I blame you guys who have personally dealt with them for allowing this continue. If you’d just leave negative feedback you’d be solid. Why is that so hard to do??? Sellers cant leave negative feedback back if thats what you’re worried about.
