Received my 78 trick or treat studios knife today, I could only find one post on the whole site where a guy used 600 grit sandpaper on the knife and it looked pretty good after, took away a lot of the reflectiveness which is what I want.
Do you guys have an advice or recommendations or making the knife look more real? 
Well, uh, the first thing you’re gonna wanna do is put a lid on that box of spiders and set it on fire. Worry about the knife later.
Yea I sanded mine and resprayed it with metallic silver, then I water down some black paint and just gave it a few washes making sure to leave a thin layer of the wash still on the knife and IMO it came out perfect really love it the tots knives are so fun, so light, accurate and affordable can’t beat them !!

Looks great! I shall do the same what sand paper grit did you use? 
Also how many coats did you use of metallic silver spray sorry I am a total novice to this 
Also will this spray paint do?
