Red Kap Coveralls H1 Alterations

And no we don’t have a “hive mind” thing here. Just call out people doing odd things :sunglasses:

Like dressing up for Halloween year round and taking selfies? Lol.

Come on now…

Yeah…If that is odd to you, you are on the wrong board . Let’s be honest…you posted multiple pics of your shots, when people called you out on it you said something like “I had a reason for that” and it was to be top poster of the month??? Huh??? Then you recanted when called on doing it again & this time said it was because of a computer problem that those pics were posted multiple times. I don’t get it. And now the gold/silver thing? Laughable

I dont think it’s weird, but fun. I’m not the one being a judgemental jerk about personal preferences of payment either. Why do you care? We’re not conducting any business. Find me one person who has complained about my work or that I burned them. You are just here to bash. I’m sorry you despise “real money.” I’m sure you’re a swell guy in real life though.

Thanks for the input. Take care.

Ha! Actually… I have many good friends. I just call 'em like I see 'em😁

RLStern, I doubt you will have anyone paying you in bullion, but since it isn’t a main source of income, then no big deal right? I just don’t think people expected that request.

I mean MichaelAudreyMyers76, not RLStern…sorry you both use the same words and sentence structure, so it’s hard to tell. I didn’t look at the username at first. I mean no offense :person_shrugging:

:arrow_right:

No offense taken. The RLStern comment is probably a slight but oh well. At first, I didn’t offer any services to anyone. They’d seen my alterations and have requested them. First one I did was free of charge for Michael Weinstein (spread the word sort of arrangement). After that, I asked for payment, but in dollars, but no one wated to pay up front. Again, no big deal. After getting burnt a few times (hand sewing takes longer), I stopped offering alterations.
Recently soneone asked again, and I said “sure, but give it to me in silver bullion instead of cash,” once services are rendered. Once I completed the work, I sent pictures. In the time I worked on it, dude sold off most of his cosplay stuff and bought a truck. No problem. Then, he then told me I could sell the coveralls as payment. :unamused: So, I set my conditions for services.

I honestly could not care less. I don’t need the income. If people don’t want to meet those conditions, I’m not upset about it. $75 (3
ounces of bullion) for labor seems fair to me. Apparently they are upset though. I’m sorry they’re upset. Other than that, I’ll sleep well regardless.

Thanks for being respectful.

I’m late to this thread but I wonder: did anyone actually take the time to look into buying the silver? You buy the coins and send them to the OP. It’s as easy as that. If you don’t want to do that, then don’t. Just don’t pretend you’ll have to find a sunken Spanish galleon to pay.

I have one question regarding the collar.I have a pair of coveralls already but I’m curious what changes are done to make it more accurate? I can’t tell from comparison pics, but I do know that the collar doesn’t cooperate at all with the neck of my mask. Thanks in advance for any tips you can offer.
