I know this is an older post but man this is one of the best 78 coverall alterations I’ve seen. It’s nice you actually went over everything and altered each and everything that needed it. Well done man!
Sorry everyone. Been gone a spell. I actually stopped working on these for a spell. I got stuck with some coveralls that I had altered for someone. They had quit cosplay I think (more important things came up for them). I was never paid for my labor… (I believe the coveralls were size 44L). I am not upset about it at all though, I had too many projects going on at the time, however, in the future, if I accept the task, payment must be up front, please, and please allow the 3-6 month wait time.
I no longer accept fiat currencies. Silver bullion up front. I know that’s a pain, but the dollar just doesn’t go as far as it used to. I guarantee my services 100%. Wait time is 3 months and I will only take on no more than 3 clients at a time, as I hand sew everything. I do H1 coveralls only. I can do charcoal gray with teal dye added or spruce green with a gray dye added (I do this “after” alterations are done) to give it that “smokey grey/green look” that the Sears Tradewears Tex-Green coveralls have.
Red Kaps coverall alterations:
Collar.
Top snap buttons removed/replaced with donut jean button and button hole.
Front right pocket flap added.
Sleeves split and snap buttons added.
Elastic added to waistband on inside of coveralls.
Dyed and slightly weathered (lightly sanding surfaces and using acrylic paints).
Price for these services as of 6/14/2021: 3 ounces silver bullion
That’s so sus. Why don’t you just buy 3 ounces of silver after selling your coveralls? This is bizarre and convoluted.
Good luck getting a single order ya weirdo.
I have never gyped anyone. I have been gyped plenty though. Last coveralls that I converted for someone (in advance), they never paid. I did work for Michael Weinstein and he liked them just fine. If you don’t want to do business, that is just fine by me.
#WeirdoAndProud:fu:
If I am doing the work, I can ask for walnuts if I want to.
Why is preferring “real money” (gold/silver) as opposed to the dollar (which is bleeding in value everyday, due to “inflation”) considered “wacked?” Since I started collecting precious metals in 2004, it’s value has exploded, and hasn’t lost any value.
Your comments are pointless conjecture at this point. I have already had people pay me in this manner, without any complaint. It only took one time of getting gyped, now I prefer payment (of my choosing) up front, just like any indy mask maker, etc.
If people admire the work, they have no problem paying in advance, but if you prefer a different type of payment, suddenly they lose their minds. I don’t like fiat currency. Period. In a few years here, when a gallon of milk is likely $20, perhaps you’ll understand why? It’s BASIC ECONOMICS.
You dont HAVE to do business with me. It’s cool. Sorry if it “bothers” you. If you like the coveralls, that’s my price. Take it or leave it. I don’t rely on this for income, so no pandering required. I am just trying to help people get their hands on H1 coveralls for an affordable price for hands on work. People selling Tradewears for $899 is what should bother you. I offer an affordable alternative. Buy, or don’t buy. It’s cool.
People in this group just love to swarm and attack like it’s a hive mind. Lol. Take care and have a good day. #WhackedAndWeird
I am a silver/gold stacker who hapoens to appreciate cosplay.
Answer me this, if you had simething to sell, and I offered gold/silver to pay for it (in advance, so you could vetify authenticity), would ypu accept it?
