Repainting my H1 (Night Owl Creep)

Sooooo… I have a bit of an issue. The paint is chipping off on my H1: front of the neck, back sides, and on the nose.

Repainting is required, and perhaps a proper neck restoration. So, I wanted to ask. As someone who has never painted a mask, and has none of the advanced gear like airbrushes… How do I repaint my H1? Or, who could I send it to get it repainted by?

Send it off to Nitram Productions, Spookhouse Props or Handiboy

What’s the price and wait times, if you happen to know? If not, where can I contact them?

Rowland Kelly could probably do it justice for you if not any of the above already mentioned. You can find Rowland right here under theshape1974.

What if I were to go with a semi-clean, or full clean '78 Shape? Which one would you recommend?

Well ultimately it’s up to you what you think is best for you, but in my opinion a semi-clean look would be the best of both worlds. That sweet spot between the full clean and full dirty is the perfect look, in my opinion.

There’s a pic of a '98 Proto that I saw here that is basically the kind of look that I want."

Yeah you could even share that photo with which ever artist and I’m sure they could do it justice.

Paint …at least to me depends on what your doing with the mask …Display…dirty is perfect!

All white is awesome for cosplay shots…can tinker with lighting to get shadows you want on the mask

Just my thoughts

I tend to cosplay a little more with my masks than the average collector. Hence why I wanted to opt for a Semi-clean look.

I’m a fan off all white …dirty on the nose and lower lip
Works good for me …lighting wise

A bit of grunge around the bridge of the nose, the tip of it, and the mouth go a long way. But the rest I’d want ghostly white with a few hints of fleshtone. Hell, the mouth could do with hints of fleshtone instead of grunge. I think that’s the perfect blend of Clean Shape and Dirty Shape.

Be badass to…I have noticed the really dirty does not show up well for me a night …almost like to much takes away from the shape of the mask …cheeks …

Had this creep few yrs back …basically white

That’s a gorgeous Creep. I actually took a few pics tonight that I think REALLY lent well to the Creep’s accuracy as a Holy Grail piece, and why I want to preserve and have it painted and haired just right.

I’ll kill you if this is a joke, Annie!!!

… Annie???

Pics look great! The Creep is a very nice mask …only mask I own now
