Repairing a tear/cut in a mask?

I have a ToTs Boogeyman that I’ll be re-painting. I was tweaking the eye cuts and I accidentally cut too far.

Is there a glue I can use to repair it?

do you have a picture of the oopsie?

you can use 3-6000 glue from walmart, rubber cement, shoe-goo, etc all safe for latex.

more important than the glue, is the patching itself. I cut up pieces of a bald-cap and glue that rough side down
on the inside of the mask so it doesnt continue to tear

Here’s a picture of the cut. It on the inside corner of the left eye cut.

I was told to use liquid latex to fix it. Would I still need a patch inside if I use the liquid latex?

oh yeah thats tiny, noone will see that.

if you glue in the baldcap piece from the inside, it would be a small circle. e6000 is your best bet its strong
and dries clear. you can “smoosh” a little of the glue in the actual cut, then press it tight so the patch from the inside sticks

you can just wipe off the smooshed glue in the cut with a business card, it cleans up easy just w/ a wet finger-tip

you can use latex, rubber cement etc is stronger though

if you only have liquid latex on hand, you can use that, for a patch just use a seperated ply of cheesecloth on the inside
then a few more layers of liquid latex.

the patch helps so if the mask is stretched the tiny slitt will no get longer

Rubber cement is stronger than latex? How about e6000? Is it stronger than latex and rubber cement?

i say e6000 is strongest, i use it to hair all my masks never ripped off whilst combing
