Repairing eye slit small tiny tears

Hi not sure if this is a natural phenomenom or this was how some masks come. Do people order it like this?
I notice at the corner of the eye closes to the temple it has a small teeny tiny 1 mm tear. Its not at all noticeable but Im concerned it will grow in time. anyone know how to fix this? small dab of latex and let it dry? Or super glue.

Any info would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Is this “tear” on both eyes? Assuming it is, & it’s an H1-H2 mask in question, this is normal & accurate. You shouldn’t have any issue of it “ripping further” unless you are putting it on & taking it off incorrectly (pulling on the eyes)
Liquid latex should solve this problem, but I’d recommend keeping it as is if you want that authentic look.

Give us a little info. What mask/year/make is it? Is it from the original maker or is it a conversion?

Do you mean something like this?

If so, that’s supposed to be there.

Yes that’s intentional. The tear was there in H1 too.

You sure it was in H1? I can’t recall seeing it ?

I believe it was in H1 as well…I think dick warlocks stretch combined with the rotting and aging of the mask just made it more noticeable in H2 than it was in H1.

Yes it was in H1, 100%.

In the phone scene it can be seen

Yea I regretably freaked out years ago for the same thing… New to the hobby, not detail oriented like I am now and with my first high end mask purchase I asked the same question… Thought Terry at CGP sold me a bad mask… A bit absurd in my email and I Felt so embarrassed from it… Remained a costumer of his for years after that because he was always great to deal with… Sad what happened a few years back but those slits are definitely supposed to be there bud… You’ll figure out all kinds of little details in the Myers mask over your course of collecting… Like a fellow member said so long as you put it on and take it off right it won’t tear further… Don’t over stuff it either… It will stretch the latex but other than that it’s good bud…
