This mask is a long time coming for me and something I am ecstatic to welcome it (back) into my collection. This “saga” started back in 2007 when I bought a Nightmare from Randall (itstimemichael). This wasn’t your typical Nightmare though, as it’s finishing was a fleshy white and had platinum blonde hair. I guess no one really took to the way it was finished because wasn’t exactly accurate, but I really loved it’s unique appearance. Well, stupid me, being an immature collector I didn’t own this mask very long. Some time after, I sought it out only to learn that Matt (JasonV123) had refinished it and sold it off, never to be seen again by me. Since then, I’ve been determined to obtain a blank Nightmare (not from Nik) and then find an artist I felt capable of taking on the task of recreating the Blonde Nightmare, as I wanted it done very specifically. Once I found out that Chris (Morgan) had gotten a Nightmare mold, I saw my chance. I bought a blank and had Chris send it directly to James because after what we’ve all seen James do, I knew he could do it, easily. I apologize to James if he has taken offense that I went with Chris in the end. I have full faith in James and I know for a fact he would’ve done just as good a job on it. Chris has been a great friend of mine and has been blooming incredibly fast in his painting skills, so I told him that I wished for him to tackle the project. And he was thrilled to take it on and try something different. Apparently this mask is a hit with many of Chris’ customer and has already sold three more. I honestly did not expect anyone to like this mask or get it’s concept. This is really my own (and Randall’s, in a way) vision of Myers. You could also look at it as the Halloween III mask that could have been, had Halloween III been a Myers sequel. The eye cuts are H1 and the weathering is of H2, so it could be as if all the white paint had worn off, the spray paint in the hair nearly gone, and the mask had dirtied just a little more. I commend Chris greatly for this, as he attained the look that I wanted %100, to a T! I honestly could not have asked for or envisioned a better finished product. Even the masks pale, fleshy color was restored in Chris’ remake of the Blond Nightmare. Thats a sick mask Matt! Big congrats my friend. BTW, I agree with you, this would have made a kick ass H3 mask if they chose to go with a myers sequel.

A very nique piece indeed. Phenomenal display pics, the progression of your photo skills has truly evolved to a whole new level and it shows off the detail of the Nightmare in spectacular fashion. Congrats on a great looking Nightmare!
Absolutely NO offense taken Matt! I have a shaaat ton of blanks here now, and sometimes having one or two less is a blessing in disguise! Ok i mean no offence here but im not a fan of this one mainly because the colours don’t do it for me but thats not to say Chris hasn’t done a Killer job because that guy is coming on leaps and bounds in the conversion world,and a Big Congrats matt on your mask man
