Cheers to that. I was constantly on again, off again on the FB page. The constant influx of newbs who copped an attitude with people was very offputting to me. I only recently rejoined it because of the egregious amount of spam on here lately.
If the FB group unfortunately is deactivated for good, definitely will see the forums becoming much more active!
It wasn’t deactivated, Facebook automoderation freaking nuked it. The group admins can try to appeal, but speaking from experience as somebody whose (very popular) Jurassic Park fan page got nuked last year, there’s very little chance of recovering the original group. We ended up creating an entirely new page with the word “unofficial” in the title to avoid further confusion. It doesn’t have the reach the original page got, but we’re getting there.
I personally always preferred this forum over Facebook. I would check out the Buy/Sell area and even then I had to use my mom’s account because I don’t have a Facebook account myself. Instagram is the only social media I use.
Honestly glad I have no choice now! Less phonies…Going to facebook group was such a habit…this is a great new start…as i said…the resurrection of the forum is upon us!
I always preferred the forums anyways. Although I will miss being able to go back and see some of my photos in there. Was going to go in there and save them all back to my external but not looking like that’s going to happen.

this was always the place to be. FB is garbage. I never went on that dumpsite.
I never had Facebook but I prefer forum here personally. I’m ready for halloween.
Damn, it looks like this place is rising in activity now after FB took down the FB group, to me the forums is the place to be!
It would be cool if it led to a resurgence in the forum.
Josh If you own that Kirk or know the guy that bought it… Get it off that display. The front of the neck is to close to the stand imo. Just a thought.
I’m a newer member but did like the FB group for easier access to some who were buying or selling.
Aaaaand this morning my site’s Instagram was suspended with no explanation. Literally all we did was post Jurassic Park related content.
This just keeps getting better and better…

I don’t really look at FB anymore, but it sucks to see the group gone.
