Hello everybody! So unfortunately, Carhartt has officially discontinued the Carhartt X02 Coveralls as of a few weeks ago. For those who don’t know, these were the model coveralls used for Michael in Rob Zombie’s Halloween. And after a lot of research, there is only 1 left on eBay, which I haven’t bought because of the size being too big. When I started the search, there was a few left, but these puppies are being sold FAST. The main coveralls that come up are the Carhartt X01 Coveralls, which is used for Hobo Michael in H2, but not his typical Jumpsuit look. I have found a solution as to get that H2007 look for those who cosplay as this certain Michael:
These coveralls may not look like the exact model coveralls from the movie (no flap front pockets), but they are quite close. They even have the knee pads that you see on Michael’s legs. To solve the front pocket issue to make it more accurate, I would recommend purchasing “George Brown Cargo Shorts”. The shorts themselves don’t matter, rather you need to cut out the pocket flaps and glue/sew them on where the front slanted pockets are on the coveralls I have shown. The flaps that have been cut out will be big enough to cover the pocket slants, making it look like there was no slanted pockets at all. The only downside is the flaps aren’t there for functionality, but rather looks. Tada! They look very close to Carhartt X02 Coveralls!
I hoped this helped anyone who has been planning to cosplay/make a RZ Michael Myers outfit! If there are any questions, just ask me!
Yeah. I watched some videos on rehauls and some of them don’t have any? Might of been a slightly different version produced. https://youtu.be/On2hGU48np0
Thanks for the pics! Yeah that is really strange that you have no Knee pads, you have literally everything else! Quick question: Where did you get the patches for his left chest and arm?
Yeah I have been told they are the first run of the line of XO2 coveralls?? Maybe I personally have no idea haha. They are exactly the same as the ones with knee pads just no knee pads. ?I got the patches from a guy on here. I try to find his name.
Here in Germany, it seems to be nearly impossible to find a nearly close to the original brown version of a RZH1 coverall for a fair price of about 50,- € like normal blue ones. I am sick of searching for one online for hours and hours that in the end you do not find. And I certainly don’t pay 100,- or even 200,- € for a coverall.
Do YOU may be have an interesting link for me where to get one? I think I need 3XL.
As you don’t get one here, what would be “accepted” a an emergency solution for a RZH1 oufit on Halloween? Black “normal” coverall? An olive one or what?
Hi, y’all!
Today, I am glad to have found this coverall for ca. 50 EUR, shipping from UK included. To me, it has the characteristic cord collar and it is slightly thicker material that you can certainly wear outside in the fall without freezing. It says it is 3XL and I hope it fits me. First, I am going to dye it black - I think that the coverall then will turn out a DARK brown color. Then I can start with the weathering…
